OK, you are not giving me any info to go on. What version of PHP are you running, do you have file_get_contents() activated on your server, what type of server is it, and do you have version 1.0.1 of the plugin installed and is there a JSON .php file in the plugins folder?
Why not widgetize this? Most people use widgets these days.
I’ve said this before in 3 other places, but one more time wouldn’t hurt. Widgetizing the plugin is the next step after all of the bugs are worked out.
On a related note, if you have PHP 4 and not 5.2+ I just added version 1.0.1 to the plugin directory which will now work with your version of PHP . I had not though of it but as spykawg pointed out json_decode() needed 5.2+ to work and so I included a work around and everything should be all good now.
I’ve placed it in my sidebar but I’m getting a single column of thumbnails instead of a grid. Any tips? A 3×3 grid would be sweet?!Donagh
Do you have some CSS that is overwriting the defaults that come with the plugin?
It should automatically float all the items left and show as a grid and not in a single column. The most likely culprit is your existing CSS . Get firebug and check to see if there is a clear or float none being applied to the items in your sidebar.
You can make plenty of money building themes and selling them on TF. The deal is they have to be good enough for people to want to buy them. If you design sexy stuff people will buy it and you will get like $500 – $1000 a month doing nothing but taking in money from your sexy themes. However, if you build the same thing as the next guy or don’t execute the design in a way that makes people go WOW then you will have mediocre returns. I say if you’re going to put something on here it should be golden and shiny lol. Then you can sit back and get that passive income on 10 files instead of 40 and it’s a lot less work.
I am doing around $500/m on two files so it’s doable.
