mustafaamd saidWhat i mean is: Example, i have many custom metaboxes for different post types and post formats, if i put all the code for my custom metaboxes in a plugin, this plugin would be useful only with my theme, as is useless for another theme cause probably another theme dont call at all in the frontend the values of my custom metaboxes… Mean just this, is kinda odd make a plugin which can be used only with a theme, had more sense integrate it in the theme.
No understand ?
Best solution: Everything in plugins.
Is what i was thinking, but the problem is that in my custom framework i have lot of custom functions shared between the normal WP loop and what i’ll now need to move in plugins. So, or duplicate all the shared functions for make the plugins work even with a normal theme, or all bundled plugins which i’ll make as theme support will be totally useless with another theme. Don’t know if is easy understand what i mean…
I’m totally confused about one point:
Allowed in theme: Page builders
Must be in plugin: Shortcodes
Page builders do a large use of shotcodes, for columns, buttons, tabs, etc.
Someone can make me understand this point please?
