Those 6 month where like the biggest changes on the market I think, I’m not sure about the attitude but things changed.
I would like to hear (and maybe try to prevent) that what should happen and cause you to stop making goods and sell them on Themeforest.
Hope that makes sense.
A better experience (the sum of functionality, exposure, and terms). I think a lot of people won’t leave, but will explore selling independently, separately on other markets, and selling on multiple markets simultaneously. Diversify or die.
I think the answer is pretty much the same for everyone: When the benefits of selling elsewhere will outcome the benefits of selling here. In terms of not only money, but support, free time, how you’re treated as an author, etc
The mandatory support, I give support but if they make me support by guaranteeing me to respond within so many hours and start selling my time without me wanting too, I will be leaving.
I have 2 elite accounts, both only just made it as elites, one earning just over $75k and the other one at $85k so I have not been an elite that long but still I will move on!
Doru as a Community manager.
no offence, just kidding
Managers of Envato should become authors and try to feed their family by selling goods here to understand fellow authors
Now that I think of it, Envato would probably love if a ton of elites dropped exclusivity and started selling on other marketplaces. Envato would take 66% instead of 30%. What’s their incentive to treat authors well?
