I got rid of nero too because there were too many unnecessary features and its massive size. try CDBurnerXP, it’s free and lightweight,

I have nero 8.3.6.0 and it has an option in the custom install options for a “light install”. This only installs the basic functionality and takes around 24mb on my 1.5tb drive so its hardly a hog or using any resources at all.

Toast
Biscuits :-P (ok, jk, +1 to Toast)

Mmm, I like Toast :)

Its got mac written all over the screen though :(

it says “for both Mac and PC” but then under requirements it only lists MACs… maybe cause PCs are just awesome enough to run it no matter what… ;)

Ohh, you’re using Windows. In that case I recommend burning your CD’s with a lighter. :-P

haha, just messing!

thanks for your valuable thoughts :P :D

For DVDs, ImageBurn or PowerISO.
For CDs, EAC .

Just thought i’d drop this in for anyone else that finds this thread…

I’ve just stumbled across Burn Aware which is free and supports cd / dvd and blu-ray with a lovely basic clutter free interface :)

Bye Bye Nero, Forever :D 8)
