I developed a hosting theme. In any ways… people who bought my theme will charge money from end users… does this means they need to buy extended licence always?
my theme have 2 way of monetisation: - paypal purchase - whmcs integration (not sure about this)
How to ask customers to buy extended? I think they don’t understand and don’t know about that. I think in those themes Extended price should be primary by default.
Obviously not, they’ll use it on just one hosting website/business and that’s covered by single license. Nobody would pay $2,250 for a hosting theme that’s sold to several users.
In what case extended in real live? They would buy regular licence 2x times instead?
Exended license is mostly for WP MultiSite usage. Don’t really expect extended license sales as they most likely won’t come, I have over 8,000 sales and no extended license
Creating a template that sells products != extended license, otherwise every eCommerce sale should be extended license.
Instead, the extended license is for products where the buyer earns money directly from the functions of the theme, e.g a paid social network. and not through products sold through the theme, e.g hosting, eCommerce etc.
