Upgraded to OSX 10 .7.2 which is required for migrating Mobile me to iCloud – can’t upgrade the iPhone4 or iPad … getting error. Will have to wait for a solution.

Protip: Wait a day or two before upgrading.

I’ve just been through a lengthy process of repeatedly trying the upgrade, with it dying at various points thanks to Apple’s servers being dead. It left my phone bricked for a good while.

Touch wood, I think I’ve got it working now. iTunes claims it’s restoring all my apps.

Currently running IOS5 on my iPad 2 and newsstand is just awesome! :D

It did take me 14 times for my PC to skip the 3200 error however. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, and try again.

“Contacting the iPad software update server” just hangs for me. I hate that I have to have iTunes installed to get an update to my iPad. Why can’t the iPad just update itself? Apple runs about 5 processes in the background at startup on a PC when you have their software installed and for this reason I usually don’t keep it.
