A client is looking to reproduce something like this in jQuery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVSgbE7tPS0&feature=player_embedded
Is this totally unreasonable or can use some combination of jquery .animate and positioning?
Some of those effects (like panning) are 3 lines of jQuery while others … I’m not even sure it can be done. Or to be more precise JS is not the best tool to do it.
Excluding the 3d effects no doubt produced by including some video frames, the rest of them can be done using our new item on CodeCanyon.
Its a configurable Ken Burns slider jQuery plugin which has separate settings for image align, image zoom and image pan + is cross browser (excluding ie6 of course)
Look in new files and its there on first page “Estro Slider”
