Iman must be sleeping Someone’s gotta pick up the slack, might as well be me.
How have summer months been usually for everyone? For myself, 2013 was the first summer on the marketplaces so I can’t form a very clear picture. That said, there were steady sales as I released new items each month. How about you, is there normally a drop?
Last year it was quite stable for me, nothing unusual. Some drop in august, but it was probably because my best-selling items were just going older and older.
I’m here But it seems I’m getting old! Well Since I don’t have any experience in summer yet, I can’t help but my 9 month experience is that it’s not important which month is it. If sales is good or not good enough, it’s just because of my own activity as an author (sending items, updates and customer satisfaction).
Since I’m gonna submit a new item in next few hours, I wish I will sell good in my first June here
Good luck with sales community!
The last years June & July where quite good months, so I am full of hope!
May was my third month selling here on GR and my earnings increased about 125% from april to may, so I’m hoping this month gets better too. I’ve just uploaded a new Brochure Template a few minutes ago. Hope it gets approved and gives a good june kick-off.
June 1st was the first day in almost 5 years where we didn’t make a single sale.
Almost same experience. I can see you have Google Analytics enabled on your Items (I can’t do it since I’m not Elite), can you check the referrers, so maybe you can compare if the search is giving you the same amount of visitors. As you might know, there’s an ongoing search experiment with insane sorting.
Hey, who opened this thread ; what’s happening here
Regards to all fellow authors and “happy” sales.
you have Google Analytics enabled
Every low point on the left “sessions” graph is a Sunday. The high bits around April are me running some ads as a test. Didn’t result in an increase in sales (I was prolly doing it wrong).
The 4 lowest points on the right “transactions” graph are Mon, Mon, Sun, Sun.
So there is no significant drop in visitors on that particular day, just nobody felt like buying haha.
