Hi. My PSD template was rejected. Here is the review:
Unfortunately your submission Kreativo PSD Template isn’t quite ready for ThemeForest and requires significant improvements and changes before it can be resubmitted and reconsidered.
Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:
Your template has a good start, unfortunately, due to our high requirements your template is not ready for the PSD template category.
This suits better in Site Templates — or another category, it has potential to be accepted but it may require more improvements before it’s approved under another category.
Your are not providing an unpleasant template but the PSD category requires higher quality in terms of aesthetics.
Should I try to slice it into wordpress, just the way it looks now? What is your advice? Thank you.
The reviewer said site templates, which I guess could mean wordpress. But since this is the most difficult in terms of work (unless you’ve done it before) it might be wiser to try a .HTML template.
At least that is what I understand from the reply.
thank you kungfu-themes for your advice. any other opinions?
yah , you should try in html or wordpress .. I got the same review of my PSD and’m doing html version .. as you said, the theme is fine but the PSD category is harder ..
Thank you for your reply. I started the wordpress version, hope it will not get rejected again, this would be very sad.
reviewer message does not mean that will be approved by 100% , i have do html version with the same message and I got rejection , means you have more chance of being accepted into an HTML category or wp .. after that this going to depend on other factors of course ..
No problem. I have my own website where I can sell the theme, in case I got another rejection. That’s what I did with the PSD also. What doesn’t pass TF goes there, so nothing is wasted
This sounds like a soft rejection.
With some more improvements you could get accepted into PSD.
Please check the “Hidden” tab to see if your item is displaying in there. If it is, it has been soft rejected.
If you provide larger images, we could prove more detailed feedback on your design.
