I was trying to get into graphicriver with my logo designs and I am repeatedly getting hard rejected without any notes, questions, etc. Since I am not really new to Envato marketplaces in general, I do know that those things happen all the time, but I decided to ask for advice from someone who is already selling here.
Thing is, I don’t know what to do anymore. I am not sure if I am getting rejected because I am missing some crucial things in my files or just because of the design that maybe isn’t appealing.
Here is the link to the logo that I made lately and it was the last one that was rejected out of 5 that I have submitted.
Please, any tips, hints or advices are welcome
Best regards, tomislavn
Files-related rejections are usually soft, not hard..so I guess the design is the problem. I cannot guide you since I’m far from being expert, but what really jumped in my eyes is the white version(too simple), maybe is something you could do about it. Wait for more feedback
The logo is simple and is of a popular shape. Nothing depicts ‘vision’. The gradient at the base of arch is confusing. In the beginning I never submitted a black version and my file came back with soft rejection asking for the same. And as Lynxlab pointed out white is way too simple.
You can try out more complex shape with this as base and work up a better logo. God Bless.
Hmm valid points thank you for your feedback guys. I appreciate it!
I think it’s not because it’s simple (logos should be). For me the problem is in the one color version. It is not reconizable as the same logo because the shape is defined from gradients. You shouls think of keeping the 3D feel in one color version. Hope it will helps you
Hmm, thank you for your suggestions ...
I have tried again yesterday and this was my new submission:https://www.dropbox.com/s/2top38j8algfy7m/raytrace_preview.jpg
It was held by review team for few hours in the first place, then hard rejected in the end again.
And another rejected logo. 7 times in a row, guess I should give up in herehttps://www.dropbox.com/s/dnb7co7yke2h5qj/preview_trident.jpg
