Hi again All,
Firstly, I wanted to say a huge thanks for all the constructive feedback and suggestions on the new statement. There are some great ideas coming through. Some of these we had considered including, and some which we hadn’t thought about. Color coding is something we should be able to get our design team to take a look at, now we have the new version up and running.
As I mentioned in my original post, the major focus of this piece of work was an overhaul of the back end of statements and how they are modeled in our system. We had a little bit of scope to implement some user facing features, and we chose the ones which we thought would deliver the most value to the widest range of users (including authors, buyers and affiliates) in the time we had to spend.
Secondly, I wanted to offer my sincerest apologies to those who have been adversely affected by the fact that these changes have broken some third party tools.
We still have a good deal of “behind the scenes” work to do in Finance Dev, which is necessary for the marketplaces to scale gracefully as we continue to grow. You may not see many shiny features coming from us in the short term, but the work we’re doing will allow us to build much better financial tools and reporting inside the marketplaces down the track.
I hope this gives you some understanding of what we’re up to, and why
Thanks again for all your feedback – it’s really great to hear from you all.
All the best,
I’m sure others have suggested it as well…no time to read through all the comments. But I would I would love to see an option to search by a specific theme so we can see how that single theme is doing.
Toooo much padding for my tastes, but globally is cool, thanks!
Hope Envastats will be ok with it (just tested and seems good). Like also the “filter by item” feature suggested by WPExplorer
I didn’t notice anything special in this change. Just another design. Functionality is zero. Better improved-the system followers – it was-would be a real benefit.
I have the following questions:
- If the page was redesigned why wasn’t made responsive like you did with the comments?
- Is there any way to default on the current month sales rather than the latest 30 days?

if you want this right now then try out dashboard plus by revaxarts, see sales graphs per item.
