“other projects had higher priority ” => pushing all 8 logos in the header. Definitely a huge improvement to the website.
Right now we’re not asking for anything extraordinary, just to see the ratings of our own items. This probably takes 2-3 hours(I won’t say it’s a matter of minutes and 2-3 SQL queries to fetch them from the database) and we’d all be happy.
So who else received 1 stars on Christmas day this year?
15 of 5* and one 1*. How great is that?
I’m sure this was mentioned before, but one thing I don’t understand about the new system is why we’ve chosen to automatically hide the ratings breakdown. The whole point of the breakdown was supposed to be to show users that an overall rating that could be considered “bad” could really just be one user spoiling the rating. For example, I’ve just had a rating show up for a recent item. 3 ratings, 3.5 average. But two of the ratings are 5 stars and one is 1 star. So the new half-stars and breakdowns are great, but because we’re hiding the breakdown, we’ve never really fully achieved the overall goal, which was to help new files whose ratings end up ruined by a single user. Maybe we could automatically show the breakdown for the first 10 ratings?
This is going to be a great thing. I am happy to learn that there are lots of new feature coming on envato
You could give a option that authors could rate the buyers! Something like in ebay! Also if the buyer has a rating bellow 3 or 2 stars, he wouldn’t be able to rate other.
Because now the buyers can blackmail us! Like I just got 1 stat for my theme, just because on buyers browser the theme management panel didn’t show up, and it’s really his browser fault because I checked on several PC his page with the same browser version as he had, and it was okay. Also I tried to do all the best, but he refused from support and gave me 1 star.
And I can’t do there anything!
