Just got me an new pc and wanted to install the os, but it doesn’t boot, i have checked the bios and set the 1e boot device to the dvd player and it still dont work. I have search on google but i cant find any solutions.
I have used a couple of windows 7 and windows xp versions(and no i’am not going to install linux)
I really dont know, i hope not
my first thought was “faulty hardware”. check it part by part.
I get the message:
“please select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key”
LOL , i have seen it but i am not an apple person
There you go Mark the fast solution hope that helps
No seriously Mark, check if your jumpers are correctly placed, remove the cables and plug them back in. I see these problems almost every day on my daytime job and in most of the cases the cable wasn’t pluged in enough or something like that.
jumpers are correct(default) and i have checked the cabels but i still got that message
