On the Envato Marketplaces, when you reach the bottom of a page of search results, the next page should appear! Google and Facebook newsfeed both display their results through infinite scroll. When I’m looking for something on the Envato Marketplaces, I hardly go past page 2 before I try a different search term. But over and over again I find myself scrolling into infinity on Google or Facebook. This would give those authors without page 1 or 2 search results more chances for sales, as well as more ease to the buyer. Maybe the Devs are already on it. Seems like an obvious update to me.
+1 if you agree!
-1, this would mess with not awesomely positioned Envato Studio banner, and we can’t allow that!
I hate those infinity scroll pages. you click on something, then use the back button of your browser, and (sometimes) have to start from the very top again. Frustrating.
-1000 from me.
-1000, i hate Facebook
Infinite scroll is the worst invention of web. At least infinite scroll without any user interaction. If i want to go to the next page or see more items i know how to do this.
I know how they annoy some people, but in a marketplace setting, I would think they would be useful to buyers.
not hate them actually, is obvious you need to see result and if it cuts on repetitive interaction like clicking on the numbers should be a good idea.
but as it was already mentioned, where do we put the envato studio banner?
this is a great idea! easier for buyers and much better for authors!
regarding the banner…put it in the right column cause it is spammy where it is currently. or if it must be spammy simply insert it after every 30 songs. very simple!
