No. Although, I think they should implement a chat system where authors (and buyers, doesn’t matter) can talk and exchange advice. Forums are sometimes dead and it’s hard to get an answer when you need it quick. Envato staff doesn’t have to participate in this chat, it’s just a room to talk.

I kinda like this idea – any opportunity to offer more immediate support to my purchasers I am all for, plus it removes the chance of a silly misunderstandings being on display for all to see (will not stop this but would reduce) – then we could keep the static comments to people actually commenting on the product, rather than full of questions – more like testimonials.

But for the original idea – I do not think that would work.

Regarding a chat between authors and customers: set up a tinychat and password protect it. Ta-da.

exactly. If it’s a themeforest author support – it should be part of the TF experience – not a 3rd party service linked to I think.
