If you are an active Creative Cloud member, with a Complete, Single App, or Creative Cloud for teams membership, the new CC apps will be available for you to download and install from the Creative Cloud site on June 17. As always, it’s your choice when you want to download and install the new versions.

I love CC because is very easy and I have a lot of APPS.

Downloading in this moment…

It is if you’re an existing customer, but if you’re a first time buyer then CC works out cheaper than direct purchase until you’ve been using it for about 11 to 12 years.

That’s for single program users or CS users… haven’t ‘done the math’ for stuff like Production Premium etc.

Downloading it now anyway… very, very, very slowly.

Just an edit on that… that’s only if you regularly upgrade to new versions every time. I agree that for the majority of people it’s not cheaper, but for some it is, and with the removal of a hefty upfront cost it might be better for a good portion of new users.

why is there 2 threads about photoshop CC ? Is it possible to merge them somehow?

For me it’s worth the 20 bucks a month for PhotoShop, It is cheaper then my DSL connection.

That’s 4 Psd Template sale on ThemeForest if you’re at 50% :)

And you get 20Gbtye of cloud space for your stuff, and a TypeKit subscription and a Behance ProSite subscription as well.

yeah that’s what I mean, I’m happy to sit with CS5 and not pay them a penny until I really have to… loads of studios are several versions out of date so I don’t see it being a problem for a few years IMO :)

I had CS5.5 and got the discount pricing, I’m loving creative cloud, the updates for After Effects are amazing!

The Edge tools look promising but it’s yet to be seen how it will turn out.
