Actually, ignitiondeck are actually big enough to have a special agreement with Envato. Envato can do anything they want on their marketplace, at their sole discretion. The rest of us, have just to stick to the rules.
Instead of whining on the forums about how others are doing better or something like that, start producing valuable stuff. You should be better off with that on the long run.
in my opinion the theme shouldn’t be on the first page. On first pages should be new items!
This is going to give the big boys of themeforest a run for there money come on people don’t get scared we little ones deal with your humangus work on daily bases and have a lot of why’s and hows
Great old theme, good luck with your sales everyone,
we have new comer here, give him a greeting.
welcome to themeforest, ignitiondeck.
If you have any question please let us know,
@icypixels , You tell me to create valuable stuff. You don’t know who I am, what I do, or what I can do. This thread is not about me, is about an old theme that is on first page in its category.
I have no problems with the transfer of a theme to another author. This is totally aceptable and I guess everyone can do this. The main problem is: Why this theme does not stay on the page where it has been published? Look at its comments, some people think that they got 2k sales in 7 days.
@RubenBristian, I don’t know why you keep saying like you agree with this. Maybe, the reason is because soon we will see one of your themes in their portolio. Who knows?
The agreement is between authors. At least that’s how it should be. Envato just approved it.
That’s not the first time we discuss the strange things that happen over the marketplace. Please remember the fact when woothemes submitted a pack of their themes and the number of threads/comments … Honestly, I no longer pay attention to such things, though I think it is not fair enough.
There’s no offense inteded Smartik, as I respect your work. I would just rather worry about other things than the “ever-so-often special arrangements Envato” makes with some authors.
It’s not the first time you and I saw a theme “revived” back to the front page.
