Hi guys! So my item https://dl.dropbox.com/u/39470654/bganimate/index.html has been rejected again. The reason for rejection is:
“Unfortunately your submission Canvas Cosmo Background isn’t quite ready for CodeCanyon and requires significant improvements and changes before it can be resubmitted and reconsidered.
Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:
This item has a nice concept, but doesn’t feature the required functionality and features to be approved as a premium item.”
I`m sure, a billion of authors received this answer. But I do not understand, why I work few weeks and do my best to create something and show to the reviewer and you guys and then the reviewer just click the button to send me a robo-answer. Why doesn`t he take 2-3 minutes to explain his opinion? Why he doesn`t appreciate my time?
The first time the item was rejected, the message was the same. After refactoring the item and adding other features (I didn`t know that was a robot) I see the same: “Nice concept… to be improved… blabla..”
I know it won`t help to create a ticket again cause I`ll receive a robo-usless symbols, but maibe you guys tell me your opininon about my item.
P.S. It is aa animated background based on canvas and don`t need any UI. Buttons are just to show to developer that he can set different behaviors.
And I`m sorry to be such a stressed
Yes your right, but about your item it’s just a simple that you can find the same script for free. just saying.
Take it to the next level, by adding more features, like:
- different shapes or sizes for particles
- more interesting backgrounds
- customizable animation ( direction, speed etc)
Nice work Absolutely correct, take it up a notch. Shapes, backgrounds, blurs, etc. would be interesting features.
Adding these features may get it accepted, but to make sure it sells you need to really focus on how buyers are going to use this. What is it for? Does it have a widespread usage where a lot of Codecanyon visitors will have a demand for that script? Or is it a bit more limited to where only a select few will want it? Try to expand the product with new features, but while doing so, try to make to new features add functionality and dual purpose to the script. The more flexibility and usage you can bake into it, the better it will sell. Best of luck
