I am noticing that many themes I download from ThemeForest have an inbuilt page builder. I create my own themes but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to implement something. Sometimes the page builders I see on themes appear to be similar, other times they have different styles.

Can anybody help me on finding a way to have a custom page builder, or at least give me some pointers.

Thanks PrimaThemes. You’re a god save!

Is this what themers use on ThemeForest? I don’t mind paying for an Extended License, as I can then do my job with it.

Its a matter of choice weather you use visual composer (which is the most famous one) or anything else, its all up to you we didn’t experience using one of those stated above maybe some experienced authors will write you reviews or a little instructions.

But the quality always rely on your theme, design, concept, functionality and support. If you can provide these you are a real winner.

Big recommendation here for Aqua Page Builder! SyamilMJ is an absolute genius.

The themes I download though have a different kind of page builder. They have one which goes on the bottom of the editor and adds blocks. I have not tested anything else. I am thinking maybe the themers create their own layout editors. I am not too sure how they all get around this.

Possibly I can create my own, or at least go through some tutorials into implementing a solution.

Hi pricklypearmedia,

its nice for the enthusiasm you’ve got, but you can’t just jump out and find a tutorial how to make a layout builder it goes step by step, first you learn how to add metaboxes, shortcodes then how to build a plugin, as Envato now requires that major functionality of themes to remain in a plugin. So there is a long trip in front of you to the self made layout builder. You can apply for a premium tutplus account and achieve that or follow some tut blogs out there nothing is impossible though.

Wish you the very best on this challenge :)
