FYI… WC 3.1.0 reports the following files are out of date with version 2.7.3:
I’ve uploaded an update to maintain compatibility with WooCommerce, it’s currently pending approval but should be available in the next few hours.
Thank you for the very quick reply!
Is the approval taking longer than usual?
Yes sorry it took a while to be accepted, the update is available now.
Thank you! Seems to be working now.
Hello!! Thanks for the latest update.
I think that you uploaded the old version though Because I dowloaded and installed it and Woocommerce still shows obsolete forms.
I’ve the dowloaded the update twice just to check..and the style.css shows that it was last updated in may not in june 29th.
Could you please check?
The update took a while to be approved, it’s available now.
A client has Version: 2.5.7 installed and has updated Woocommerce to v3.1.0 and now no products are displaying.
Does this mean that the theme isn’t compatible with the latest Woocommerce and that we’ll have to roll back to a previous version of woocommerce and then update the theme?
Please open a support ticket and I’ll be happy to help: http://quitenicestuff.ticksy.com/
I removed woocommerce and downgraded it to pre v3 and it works. I’m going to update the theme to the latest version and will let you know if there’s still a problem.
We bought this theme a long time ago, installed into our client hosting and configure with WooCommerce plugin. It was working just fine until last week when it was attack and we need to clean all the hosting and upload all again.
The main problem is that we want to update all (WP core, WooCommerce, Theme, and all the rest of plugins), we create a new WP install with an exact copy of the main site (backup and restore DB, copy all files, so its exactly the same).
The thing is that when we install the new version of the theme we lost all the Theme configurations (colors, texts, etc). The developer who works in our company check the old theme files and the new theme files and found out that in the new version you use a different meta_key (we don’t update regularly this site because the client doesn’t have a maintenance fee).
What we want to know if its possible is if you have a converter or some function that we can add to the new version of theme so all the previous configurations are maintain.
The actual version of the theme installed is: 2.6.4
The new version of the theme to install is: 2.7.3
PD: we just want to make work the new update of the theme in the actual site.
The theme options framework was changed a while ago (this is mentioned in the changelog) so you’ll need to manually export/import theme options between these versions.
So that basically means you need to manually set each theme option, since there aren’t that many it shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to do this.
A lot of Woocommerce texts translations doesnt work because the theme has the wrong strings, sometimes with an uppercase when it is a lowecase (like for example “Your Review” in “single-product-reviews.php” and the text need to match 100% upper and lowercase. And like that there are a lot, at least i update at least 15 or 20 texts.
Please fix it for next realease, write the text like Woocommerce if you use their templates and their language files.
You should translate text stored in the theme files using the language files provided with the theme (organic_shop/languages).
I checked and “Your Review” only occurs once, so you just need to translate it once and you’re done.
Can you tell me the recommended image width and height if i want to use a header banner where the image logo goes- i would like to fill the entire area. I added a banner but i cant figure how to decrease the holder so there is no space above and below header – see here- http://zenzencafe.com/
You would need to add your own custom CSS to removing the margin around the logo wrapper, the ID is #site-title.
If you have any other questions please open a support ticket and I’ll be happy to help: http://quitenicestuff.ticksy.com/
I recently realized that the contact form is not working because the template file uses eregi() which has been deprecated. Do you plan an update for this soon? Thanks
I just uploaded an update to fix this, it’s currently pending approval but should be available to download within the next few hours.
Hi Organic Shop…..does this theme have a better “organizing” of “sub menu items” on the responsive drop down they just all show?? that could get a bit much if we have lots of sub menus
let me know
I’m afraid the mobile menu works as shown on the demo website only.
I’ve been running this theme for a while. It’s great!!
I have had some recent problems though with the supplied plugins. And also the Shop categories not showing on the shop page, normally in the sidebar.
The plugins that are a threat (according to WF) is WooCommerce Shortcodes, and WPBakery Visual Composer. But the theme says it requires them, which made me think it might be causing the shop category menu to disappear.
There is also 14 woo overrides, I have updated to most recent Theme version but they are still causing an issue.
Can you help please?
Hello there! I’d like to report a problem – when sidebar alignment is set to left, widgets are not showing properly on mobile devices (they are “pushed” to left site and there is a giant white space to right). I have everything updated, so I think it’s not only my problem and rather a code problem. Could you please look at it? Thanks a lot! Great template!
Thanks for the heads up, I’ve just updated the theme to fix this. The update is pending approval but you’ll be able to download it shortly from your downloads page: https://themeforest.net/downloads
thanks a lot for update! I hope it will fix the responsiveness, after it’s available.
Anyway, today I found out that the contatct form is giving me this error after sending e-mail- “Warning: preg_match(): No ending delimiter ’^’ found in /data/web/virtuals/101616/virtual/www/wp-content/themes/organic_shop/template-contact.php on line 37”
Could you look at it pleas? Thanks a lot!
That’s actually just a PHP warning, not an error – you can remove it by setting WP_DEBUG to FALSE in your wp-config.php file, and set PHP warning reporting to off in your web hosting settings.
Is the email sending?
Hi, it is not, there is also a notice that e-mail adress is in wrong format.
Hi Guys, My client’s previous dev (mistadool – and a friend of mine) bought this theme a few years back now. Mistadool sent me the latest theme and I just updated to 2.7.5 – all plugins up to date etc. and WP. But I’m still getting an error on the shop. The client has set WooComm to not charge shipping over $99 but it still shows “shipping $15” as an option. Check the shop at http://www.natural-spa-chemicals.com/shop/ and try adding products to over $99 and you’ll see what I mean. I assume support has expired so happy to pay if needed to answer this question (I didn’t buy theme, the client and her previous dev did). I can give you WP access to the site if you like. I’m sure what will take me 3 days will take you guys 3 minutes! Nice theme and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
It’s not possible to use Ticksy as mentioned above as previous dev purchased theme. Happy to pay for extra support for an answer / solution. Perhaps you can email me firstname.lastname@example.org privately regarding this.
Bottom line is that the theme’s shipping module doesn’t seem to work with WooCommerce.
Look forward to your email / reply.
You can get in touch with the previous developer and ask them to send you the purchase code so you can open a support ticket, they can find it like so: http://themes.quitenicestuff.com/themeforest/purchase-code.png
I’m afraid I can only provide support via the forum.
I did that and entered his support code but it said it had expired. Happy to buy more support if you can tell me how.
You will need to ask the previous developer to purchase it by clicking “extend support” on the item downloads page here on Themeforest.
Oh God. How complicated. Okay – have contacted him and I’ll log in as him and post the exact same message to your support forum as I posted here! Not happy guys. I even offered to pay for help.
Sorry for the trouble, but this is how support is provided on Themeforest. To avoid this problem in future it’s best the client always purchases the theme themselves because they will need access to the purchaser’s Themeforest account anyway to get updates if and when WooCommerce releases an update which is fairly often.
Okay, thanks for the prompt response. In most cases, clients aren’t computer savvy enough to do this, but I’m in touch with the previous dev and we work together so in this case it’s fine. Looking forward to solving this issue via your ticksy support asap.
You can setup the account for the client on their behalf, it’s just important that it’s their own account which they have ownership of.
It’s unfortunately a common problem that the developer purchases the theme themselves, then the client loses contact with them and is locked out of receiving all updates and support.
