Thank you! Seems to be working now.

Hello!! Thanks for the latest update. I think that you uploaded the old version though :( Because I dowloaded and installed it and Woocommerce still shows obsolete forms. I’ve the dowloaded the update twice just to check..and the style.css shows that it was last updated in may not in june 29th. Could you please check?

Hi GabrielaRuiz,

The update took a while to be approved, it’s available now.

Hi there, A client has Version: 2.5.7 installed and has updated Woocommerce to v3.1.0 and now no products are displaying. Does this mean that the theme isn’t compatible with the latest Woocommerce and that we’ll have to roll back to a previous version of woocommerce and then update the theme? Thanks Karl

Please open a support ticket and I’ll be happy to help: http://quitenicestuff.ticksy.com/

I removed woocommerce and downgraded it to pre v3 and it works. I’m going to update the theme to the latest version and will let you know if there’s still a problem. Thanks

Hi there,

We bought this theme a long time ago, installed into our client hosting and configure with WooCommerce plugin. It was working just fine until last week when it was attack and we need to clean all the hosting and upload all again.

The main problem is that we want to update all (WP core, WooCommerce, Theme, and all the rest of plugins), we create a new WP install with an exact copy of the main site (backup and restore DB, copy all files, so its exactly the same).

The thing is that when we install the new version of the theme we lost all the Theme configurations (colors, texts, etc). The developer who works in our company check the old theme files and the new theme files and found out that in the new version you use a different meta_key (we don’t update regularly this site because the client doesn’t have a maintenance fee).

What we want to know if its possible is if you have a converter or some function that we can add to the new version of theme so all the previous configurations are maintain.

The actual version of the theme installed is: 2.6.4

The new version of the theme to install is: 2.7.3

Regards,

PD: we just want to make work the new update of the theme in the actual site.

Hi dobleoptin,

The theme options framework was changed a while ago (this is mentioned in the changelog) so you’ll need to manually export/import theme options between these versions.

So that basically means you need to manually set each theme option, since there aren’t that many it shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to do this.

A lot of Woocommerce texts translations doesnt work because the theme has the wrong strings, sometimes with an uppercase when it is a lowecase (like for example “Your Review” in “single-product-reviews.php” and the text need to match 100% upper and lowercase. And like that there are a lot, at least i update at least 15 or 20 texts. Please fix it for next realease, write the text like Woocommerce if you use their templates and their language files.

Hi dobleoptin,

You should translate text stored in the theme files using the language files provided with the theme (organic_shop/languages).

I checked and “Your Review” only occurs once, so you just need to translate it once and you’re done.

Hi Can you tell me the recommended image width and height if i want to use a header banner where the image logo goes- i would like to fill the entire area. I added a banner but i cant figure how to decrease the holder so there is no space above and below header – see here- http://zenzencafe.com/

Hi royalmice,

You would need to add your own custom CSS to removing the margin around the logo wrapper, the ID is #site-title.

If you have any other questions please open a support ticket and I’ll be happy to help: http://quitenicestuff.ticksy.com/

I recently realized that the contact form is not working because the template file uses eregi() which has been deprecated. Do you plan an update for this soon? Thanks

Hi roberthamada,

I just uploaded an update to fix this, it’s currently pending approval but should be available to download within the next few hours.

Hi Organic Shop…..does this theme have a better “organizing” of “sub menu items” on the responsive drop down they just all show?? that could get a bit much if we have lots of sub menus

let me know Thank you

Hi ParadigmShiftMedia,

I’m afraid the mobile menu works as shown on the demo website only.

Hi There,

I’ve been running this theme for a while. It’s great!!

I have had some recent problems though with the supplied plugins. And also the Shop categories not showing on the shop page, normally in the sidebar.

The plugins that are a threat (according to WF) is WooCommerce Shortcodes, and WPBakery Visual Composer. But the theme says it requires them, which made me think it might be causing the shop category menu to disappear.

There is also 14 woo overrides, I have updated to most recent Theme version but they are still causing an issue.

Can you help please?

Kind regards

Matt

Hello there! I’d like to report a problem – when sidebar alignment is set to left, widgets are not showing properly on mobile devices (they are “pushed” to left site and there is a giant white space to right). I have everything updated, so I think it’s not only my problem and rather a code problem. Could you please look at it? Thanks a lot! Great template!

Hi MHorvath123,

That’s actually just a PHP warning, not an error – you can remove it by setting WP_DEBUG to FALSE in your wp-config.php file, and set PHP warning reporting to off in your web hosting settings.

Is the email sending?

Kind regards

Hi, it is not, there is also a notice that e-mail adress is in wrong format.

I’ve just uploaded a fix for this.

Hi Guys, My client’s previous dev (mistadool – and a friend of mine) bought this theme a few years back now. Mistadool sent me the latest theme and I just updated to 2.7.5 – all plugins up to date etc. and WP. But I’m still getting an error on the shop. The client has set WooComm to not charge shipping over $99 but it still shows “shipping $15” as an option. Check the shop at http://www.natural-spa-chemicals.com/shop/ and try adding products to over $99 and you’ll see what I mean. I assume support has expired so happy to pay if needed to answer this question (I didn’t buy theme, the client and her previous dev did). I can give you WP access to the site if you like. I’m sure what will take me 3 days will take you guys 3 minutes! Nice theme and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Hi objectman,

Sorry for the trouble, but this is how support is provided on Themeforest. To avoid this problem in future it’s best the client always purchases the theme themselves because they will need access to the purchaser’s Themeforest account anyway to get updates if and when WooCommerce releases an update which is fairly often.

Kind regards

Okay, thanks for the prompt response. In most cases, clients aren’t computer savvy enough to do this, but I’m in touch with the previous dev and we work together so in this case it’s fine. Looking forward to solving this issue via your ticksy support asap.

You can setup the account for the client on their behalf, it’s just important that it’s their own account which they have ownership of.

It’s unfortunately a common problem that the developer purchases the theme themselves, then the client loses contact with them and is locked out of receiving all updates and support.

Is there a way to change the checkout page so that the “Ship to different address” checkbox is unchecked by default? I tried adding the following to my child theme’s functions.php:

add_filter( ‘woocommerce_ship_to_different_address_checked’, ‘__return_false’ );

but it ended up causing an issue with items added to the cart not appearing in the cart. Is there an effective way of doing this? Thank you.

Good morning! Love this product. Recently I’ve noticed since an accidental update to woocommerce my order emails no longer have the site name in the email subject line; instead it says “{blogname}”; additionally WordPress says the theme is using outdated templates – does those issues relate to the woocommerce update? Will your next theme update resolve the issue? Thanks!

Hi sipher7024,

Go to “WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > New Order” and you can edit the “Subject” field there.

Regarding outdated files, I’ve just uploaded an update, it’s currently pending approval but should be available within the next few hours.

Some of my blog posts do not show the narrow strip preview image, even though I’m creating them all the same way (upload image to the Media Library, then selected as Featured Image for the post). Does anyone know how to get these to display the proper preview images on the blog home page? Right now they display as the full uploaded image, no as the narrow strip preview. Pardon my currently in-progress CSS, but it looks like this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/CxJXvPxuGdLN4Dtx1

Hi NightBloooming,

If you’re setting the image as a featured image for the post it should display.

If you open a support ticket and provide your WP login details I’ll take a look for you: https://quitenicestuff.ticksy.com/

Hello! I’ve made several updates to my ticket over the past three days with no response. It is ticket number: 1340653

Within Appearance > Customize > General Settings I have checked the box for Display Search in Main Menu. The search box doesn’t appear in the main menu. Could that be because I have too many menu items? Is there a way to place a search box above the main menu? You can see my website at www.fabcabinets.com.

Hi rgwhitaker,

This display search in main menu option is working fine for me.

From looking at your website it appears you or someone else has customized the main menu – so they have probably removed the search functionality when they implemented this.

If you revert back to the default the theme it works.

Kind regards

Thank you. I still can’t see it. I’m using the Ubermenu plugin to add mega menu functionality.I’ll have to look at the settings for that and see if that’s causing the problem.

Hi, I’ve installed latest version of theme (2.7.6) on WP 2.8.2 , but my Wordpress tell me that: “Your template (Organic Shop) uses outdated copies of WooCommerce templates”. In status page i have checked as outdated: organic_shop/woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php, cart/mini-cart.php, cart/shipping-calculator.php, checkout/thankyou.php, myaccount/form-login.php, order/form-tracking.php, order/order-details.php. Is anyone else have this issue? Is the next version of the template being prepared?

Hi chaziaj,

I’m running WooCommerce 3.2.1 and Organic Shop 2.7.6 and do not get an outdated templates error message.

Most likely when you updated you did not fully delete the old theme files.

To update I recommend you:

1.) Completely delete the old “organic_shop” folder in “wp-content/themes”

2.) Upload the new “organic_shop” folder in “wp-content/themes”

Kind regards

We’re also getting an outdated template error message with template version 2.7.6 running on WC version 3.2.4

Hi bhoshi,

I checked this and I’m not getting any WooCommerce outdated file errors when using Organic Shop 2.7.6 with WooCommerce 3.2.4.

To fix this I recommend you completely delete the “organic_shop” theme folder in “wp-content/themes” and upload a newly downloaded copy.
