Purchased this email template earlier today, looks great and is working really well. Good work.
I have one query.
I need to use a green theme rather than the Orange which comes with the templates. I’ve tried to change the colour of the orange images using MSPaint, but when I save the files, they have a grainy look and don’t look right.
Any help would be much appreciated. The colour I need to use is #c3e56f or:
It says, “Use with MailChimp,” but you can’t use this with Mail Chimp. It’s all messed up in both Mail Chimp and Vertical Response. It’s a great template, but it doesn’t work in MC or VR, so it’s useless for me.
The templates have been tested in Mail Chimp and they do work, so I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. You might be having issues because the Mail Chimp design editor does make the templates look a little odd, during editing.
However once they are sent all the cosmetic issues are fixed. I’d be happy to investigate further if you give me some more details.
I’m also disappointed – while these templates may have been tested in Campaign Monitor at some time, they are NOT ready to use in Campaign Monitor. You still have to add all the relevant tags to make this work with the the campaign monitor system!
What a chore. I could have made my own template from scratch. Please be more clear with your descriptions. these templates are NOT READY to use out of the box.
If you buy these you will have to do a lot of additional work to get them functional in Campaign Monitor.
Thanks for your comments. The description was not supposed to mean that it was set up with the CM tags already in place – simply that you can use CM as the delivery service without any hitches.
However I can see that it could be misleading so I’ll update the description asap. I’m actually in the process of rebuilding these templates with all the CM tags in place. If you drop me your email address I’ll send you a version once it’s done.
thanks! that would be great! my email is:
replace AT with @
Thanks Chris for you great email Newsletter designs and all your hard work, I can’t thank you enough for helping me get my Newsletter up and running tonight, one very happy customer.
Very poor HTML with a lot of errors.
Design is using tables?!
And some of the backgrounds missing when send in e-mail.
If you are having problems with the template, I’d like to help out.
Can you send me a copy of what you are working on?
With regards to your comments: Yes, email design is done using html tables, due to the lack of support for CSS . For more information check ouit this site: http://www.email-standards.org/
Some email clients won’t display background images, that’s just the nature of trying to design for email. The design has been carefully planned so that it doesn’t look broken when this happens.
Let me know if you’d like me to look at you files.
Hi Chris, This is Stuart. Just sent you an email about the html file and zip files for V3.

I can vouch for the fact that this guy cares about his clients with prompt and very helpful replies, going beyond the call of duty. Worth working with!
How do I leave a rating for this?
Let me explain as it seems I’ve ruffled some feathers. So let me make it clear. If you do NOT want to use this as a TEMPLATE for MailChimp you are probably fine. However, if you DO, then you will need editable sections which requires CODE . And that’s where I am. Pretty template that I cannot use.
Thanks for clearing that up. This is a plain html newsletter with additional files for Campaign Monitor’s code language. If you want to use it with Mail Chimp, yes you need to add extra code.
I just purchased this template for use in Mailchimp and was wondering how I can also import the template images. The html file uploads to Mailchimp without the images.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is to do with how Mail Chimp handles imported html emails. You need to host the images on a server for the import to work.
Once they are accessible via the web, Mail Chimp will be able to see them and import them correctly.
I just purchased this template and really like it, however I noticed an issue with the template in GMAIL. The header for the V3 Introduction White HTML template is a jumbled mess in GMAIL, with white lines going through the orange header, instead of a smooth band of orange across the top of the e-mail. Do you have a fix for this?
Hi Joshua, I’m looking into it – could you drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can send you updated files
Hi Joshua, I have fixed the issue, and can email you updated files as soon as I get an email address.
UPDATE: Joshua, I didn’t hear back from you but I wanted to let you know that the bug you found has been updated and a new version uploaded to themeforest. Thanks
A beautiful email template, thank you, five stars
Hi there -
Just purchased this and it appears I’m having similar problems to jrd2000 above. After editing the file to my liking, it appears great in a browser. But when I insert via Outlook it is not holding together. No grey background, lines through the header, and lots of spacing off. Any help would be much appreciated. Standard v3 introduction grey.
Hi, Would you be able to take a screenshot of your issue in outlook and email it to email@example.com... thanks
Very outdated template. Having a hard time getting to work on different platforms, template styling keeps getting broken when previewed on mobile devices. If I would have known this, I would not purchase it.
Hi new_guy, sorry to hear you are having problems. It would really help if you could be more specific
New files have been submitted to and approved by ThemeForest – anyone else with this issue should download the new files from the dashboard
I’m having similar problems to jrd2000. The template was not fixed as mentioned above by the designer. “white lines going through the orange header, instead of a smooth band of orange across the top of the e-mail.”
I can take another look at this specific issue. With regards to mobile – I’ve just tested this myself and it looks fine on an iphone. What are you testing it on?
I don’t understand why I can’t open html templates in Dreamweaver? Please help!
