Yes, but right now, this theme is pretty stable. But we also still provide update to make sure that it works with current WP version.

You may use third party page builder plugin but note that most element in demo site will not show as it must be called by our page builder.. For example, blog layout, portfolio layout, column service, stunning text..
When you use page builder plugin, it will call its own element, layout.

Hi, I have an issue with uploading the theme to my Wordpress. Child one is importing but with the main one, each time I get error. I also tried to do it via FTP but the theme does not look good and I’ve got the email from Wordpress that there is an issue with this theme.
Any solution? Maybe I’ve got wrong files or anything?

You may face the upload issue because of a file size limit on your server. Uploading it using FTP should work fine though.

Is there a changelog for Akea somewhere that we can look at? I’m trying to figure out whether today’s 1.1.5 update has any updates to the portfolio plugin bundled in it. When I click on View version 1.1.5 details in WordPress dashboard it just says it can’t connect to Themeforest. Where would I be able to see more info about each update?

Hello, I’m interested in the theme, it looks amazing. But I saw a review saying that the theme is very slow. The demo pages seem to score poorly on gtmetrix and google pagespeed insights. Could you please say something about that?

First of all, Thanks for your interest
Two reasons,
1. GtMetrix isn’t fairly weight the score. For example, in this case, there’s only one F graded > https://take.ms/urs3b while almost of it get 99+ score but it still get the total result very low which doesn’t weight the score fairly. If it weight equally, we should get 90+ in this case.
2. And the reason that it get low score on Served Scale image in this case, it mainly because of we are using Instagram image plugin in this case which it doesn’t support ‘Scale image’ feature. If you test on another page that doesn’t include this, it will get significant better score > https://gtmetrix.com/reports/demo.goodlayers.com/T05HDcoF (Some of images in the bottom bar doesn’t support Scale Image as well.)
You may also look at the test from another theme from us that is on the SAME framework as AKEA : https://gtmetrix.com/reports/demo.goodlayers.com/8ggoR6rB
Lastly, note that to make scores to be green like this, you will need to use optimization and caching plugin as well. Most score comes from these setting. I just want to be honest with you, Many other themes in the market that advertised that they got very high score, they also use these plugins as well.

Ok, so I can use in a page/article one or another. If I activate WpBakery, each time I can choose to use it or to use your bulder, right? It’s not a one choice for all, right?
My only concern is about some articles I wrote. They are made with WpBakery and are very complex. So I’d prefer to leave themas they are. Rewrite them and rebuild the structure would cost me a lot of time.

Oh got that. In this case, it should be fine. Just make sure that the stylesheet VC layout that you use previously also loaded by the plugin, not by your previous theme.
