Video backgrounds are not available on mobile devices by default (tablets and phones), this is a note as a best practice in web development.
And when you use a YouTube or Vimeo video, it is not possible to autoplay the video background on mobile. These services do not support this.
Therefore, we recommend that you set a featured image for this post so that it will appear on mobile instead of a black void where the video background cannot be displayed. Thank you.

Hello! I have three presale questions.
1. Header: Is it possible to make the header transparent? Similar to the Eaven theme?
2. Fullwidth feature area: It looks like the Perspective 2 demo has a fullwidth feature area similar to Eaven. Is it possible to place text over this image?

2. Yes, it is possible to place text over the fullwidth background image.
3. Yes, these shortcuts can be removed from the search screen by turning off certain theme options.

Is it possible to have the logo and the main menu on the left, I see on the demo it’s mainly the logo in the centre and the main menu on the left.
Some pages load on Ajax some don’t, was this a deliberate setting, can the whole site run on Ajax?

Sorry, but Alpaca doesn’t have such layout. Here are the full list of the layouts provided by Alpaca.

Alpaca provides the option to enable the AJAX navigation for post archive pages. But, it doesn’t provide the feature site wide.

Sorry, but we don’t provide the customization work.

WordPress Customizer only.

You can import one demo data only. But you can create the mix content manually.

It seems that you have enabled the image lazy loading feature from both the theme and a third-party cache/performance plugin, please refer to this chapter of Alpaca online documentation for details about how to disable the features “Progressive Image Loading” and “Lazy Loading” from the theme.

If you need a separate blog page:
When you are setting up your site, you just need to go to the site dashboard > “Settings” > “Reading” panel, find the “Your homepage displays” option, select “A static page” and select a page as the “Posts page”. All your posts will be displayed on this page.

Bug Report
Hello, I would like to file a bug report, but the support period has expired. I can fix the CSS myself so I don’t need a response, but I hope it will be fixed in the next update.
First. If you go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post > Post > Default Post Template and select Wide Header Image and Normal Template, the margin under the ad in “Before Single Post Content” is not showing. (The margins are properly displayed for the split template and the overlay header.)
Second. In the wordpress gallery block, when a caption is entered, a 1px border appears below the figcaption and there appears to be a gap. .wp-block-image figcaption { border-bottom: 0; } Fixing the CSS as above cures it.

The margin under the ad in “Before Single Post Content” is not showing – We will add a fix for this issue in the next update.
The bottom border below the gallery block figcaption ( https://d.pr/i/Tra7zy ) : I checked with our designer and found that this bottom border was added on purpose to better visually differentiate the image caption from the underlying body paragraph text. We will consider adding an option in a future update to allow users to choose whether to hide this bottom border.

Regarding the gaps in the gallery block, we didn’t explain it well enough. It is the caption for each photo, not the caption for the entire block, that concerns the gap.

Because there are multiple demos in this site, we haven’t made any optimization to it. I have created a testing site with the same data as the demo you mentioned. A cache plugin is enabled, but doesn’t use any CDN. You may like to check the score in this screenshot. Here is an online report on GTmetrix. Please note that the resulting score may change from time to time due to network connection or/and server load.

Homepage consists of “home widgets”. You can set up different home widgets for desktop and mobile devices. For example, “home widget #1” is set to be visible only for desktop, and “home widget #2” is set to be visible only for mobile phones.

Hello! I have a couple of pre-sale questions.
1. I’m currently using a theme that let’s you set “wider” and “full-width” images when writing using Gutenberg. You can do that in both post with sidebar and without a sidebar (although in posts with sidebar you can only use the “wider” option). I was wondering if your theme also supports the same options, because I think articles are look better when images and videos are a little wider than the content. The theme I am currently using is called “Contentberg” if you want to take a look.
2. Is the theme compatible with Rank Math SEO?
