I’m really sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the theme. However, I have to say I’m not sure why. What you mean by background and header image don’t display correctly?

Please check the documentation and see how the header and background image are used in this theme http://www.anarieldesign.com/documentation/amalie/ . The header image is coded to appear on the left side of the content (on bigger screens) and the background image to cover the right side. This is done that way due to the specific layout of the theme.

I guess you wanted to have the top image like on the demo!? The top image is the featured image added to the page you select to be your front page, as explained in the documentation here http://www.anarieldesign.com/documentation/amalie/front.html .

Not every theme is coded the same and that is the reason it is important to follow the documentation. If the theme would be broken and not working it surely wouldn’t pass the review process on Themeforest.

Regarding the support policy. “No support for customization” relates to customizing the theme code. Using header and background image certainly don’t fall into that category.

I would really like you reconsider using this theme as it works normally. Documentation will help you a lot and if there’s something you don’t understand you are free to ask for help using the provided support contact form.

It includes .po and .mo files and is translation ready. It is as well compatible with WPML translation plugin.

The theme is built with best SEO practices in mind. I´d say it´s very friendly.

if you think menu, it stays on the left side and on the smaller devices it goes to the top. You can preview this on the theme live demo.

Hi,

we actually decided to do it that way. Most sub menus, no matter if horizontal or vertical close as soon as you click to open a page. At least the ones that we came in contact with;). Anyhow, thank you for a suggestion, we´ll consider it.
