Hello, I’ve recently started flipping through the theme and have a couple questions. I tried going through the CSS files but none of my changes seem to reflect what I’m attempting to achieve. Can you enlighten me on the possibility to do the following:
Boxed Layout: - Ability to set custom Boxed Layout - Ability to disable “Item Style” (hover over image) – Or set the overlay color (.eltdf-portfolio-list-holder.eltdf-pl-overlay-shader ?) - Click Behavior: – To Lightbox (& scroll through other images within portfolio) – To gallery/shop/page

1. You can have a boxed layout and set the width of the boxed layout throughout the themes options. The overlay can have a shadow overlay boxed. You could additionally perhaps use CSS to target a specific color.
2. If you refer to the portfolio list the portfolio items within the list can lead to a portfolio single item, or you can set on each portfolio single and Portfolio External Link that will lead to a gallery/shop/ page. Also Pretty photo can be enable, so you can set ether gallery behavior on click or that it lead to a page.

The WP Bakery plugin you provide with the latest theme version is not compatible with it. It displays code in stead of a backend editor.

hello, i managed to make a page of the demoversion (portfolio metro) my startpage. i bought wpbakery and it is installed. but now i can’t find any way to change this demosite according to my ideas. i can’t find any way to swap images, wpbakery doesn’t show me anything regarding this and i can’t get any further. please help, thank you.

Your theme (Amedeo) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

I tried to install the theme. But uploading the ZIP archive gives the error “The link you followed has expired.” And when using FTP not all files are transfered to the server.
Now it works. I increased the values max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

Hello! Is there any way to add captions or text for images in the portfolios? I would love to be able to add a description to the images that either shows up in the sidebar as images scroll vertically or underneath the image or when the image is opened in the lightbox. Thank you!

To add description for images on single portfolio pages you can use “Portfolio Custom” or “Portfolio Full Width Custom” (please see screenshot). This way portfolio single pages can be edited as regular pages with WPBakery page builder and you can create layout you need. However, please note that it is necessary to navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager and enable the editor for portfolio posts as shown in screenshot.

We have deregistered the purchase code for you. You should be able to register the theme now.
You should know that you can now easily deregister your purchase code via our Help Center by following instructions from this article here. If you are unsure about the domain where the theme was previously registered, you can enter any url (like google.com), and in the error message the correct url will be written.

Half year ago you wrote “Our dev team is working hard at the moment on updating all our themes.”, but we didn’t receive any update. Can you give as ETA for upgrading theme to new woocommerce compatibility (especially woocomemrce overrides templates)?

At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest and the changed will be listed in the change log.

If you are running latest WordPress version, please try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
Newer WordPress versions introduced block based widgets feature, so we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solution until we add compatibility with block based widgets.

Hi I just pruchased the theme, I want to work on the theme on a test server first and then move it to the actual domain, do i need to re-pruchase a new licence or will you help me shift the licence to the final domain?
PS: the test server is hosted on a separate domain and the actual domain is different.

Hello i really like the look and feel of your theme. This is a pre-purchase query: (and if it works for me i am planing to purchase it within the next few hours)
1) I am planning to use the full screen slider on the home page top section and then add other sections below it. Is this possible or do i have to use the same ‘main home’ as in the demo.
2) In the full screen slider i want to keep the pencil animation but change the images behind it(the object as well as background), will it work? including the shadows?
3) in the full screen slider, when looking on a mobile screen the slider does not change on ‘scroll’ but one has to tap on it to chnage the slide. can we have that set to change on scroll on mobile screens as well? Thank you!

1. It is a Fullscreenslider and it is only meant to be in use as a single element on a page, without any additional content.
2. You will be able to change the content within the slider.
3. Since this is handled from the Slider Revolution options you can always set it within its options for Slide/touch https://www.sliderrevolution.com/documentation/touch-swipe/

There are law firms that send out warnings with a fine notice, because you need to accept the google fonts first, before you enter the website.
But when you can’t block the font, it makes no sense.
