Hi Ivan, Thank you so much for this theme, I still like it. I have one problem that keeps occurring. When I load the homepage on Safari the posts are overlapping each other and when using Chrome not all the featured images will show. When I refresh the page it loads perfectly. I use the masonry 3 columns minimal layout and you can view my homepage here: https://www.glowzine.nl. I hope you can help me out, maybe I’m missing something!
Hi Esmeetjie, apologies for not coming to you sooner. Kinda had a hard time finding a fix for this, but I think I did at the end, and it turned out to be easy to implement.
Go to Customizer > Additional CSS and paste this block of CSS:
.thumb-link {
overflow: visible;
}
Hit publish and clear cache if you’re using any.
Let me know if it did the trick.

Hi Ivan, Unfortunately it didn’t solve the problem, it has come back. I think it was gone, because I refreshed the page.
Hmm, strange, I just tested your site in both Chrome and Safari and it loads the images correctly. Refreshed the Homepage number of times but couldn’t recreate the issue again. Have you tried viewing your site in browser private/incognito mode to make sure no browser cache is served?
The images are loading correctly, and in Chrome everything looks fine. Except in Safari on mobile and desktop the images and text on the homepage are still overlapping each other. I’ve tried to view the website in private as well.

1) Why don’t any of the included banner spots allow Adsense code?
2) The theme comes with Nivo lightbox, but where does it apply? Linked images don’t open in a lightbox and no other parts of the theme seem to use a lightbox, unless it’s for Woocommerce images?

To answer your questions:
1. Footer CSS issue is a bug, and you’re absolutely right, there shouldn’t be a margin-top set to the copyright element. Thank you for pointing it out.
2. The Banner spots are meant to be used as a referral link banners primarily. If the user wants to add Adsense code, there are plenty of useful and well made plugins.
Banner options are in Dashboard > Angie Options > Banner (Ads) Settings, there was a typo in the Help file.
3. Nivo Lightbox works now with the latest version of the theme and can be used with images as anchor links by adding a nivoLightbox in the Link Rel field.

Firstly, this theme has my site looking better than ever. Excellent job! But, as publishers we have to consider long term support as changing themes can be a painstaking and time consuming process. I was starting to get skeptical on devoting too much time on a theme that may leave me in the lurch.
2. Fair enough about Adsense. I suppose for a global option, one could paste the needed Adsense script and html within the appropriate page template.
Yes, I eventually saw the global Banner Options (before you responded) in the Dashboard. I initially wasn’t looking for it there and it was just lost amongst the other options.
Footer CSS issue.
Footer Columns > No Widgets = .simple-footer .copyright {margin-top: 20px;}
The margin-top needs to be set to {margin-top: 0;} as this text is not inline with the left side categories text.
Actually, I’m not sure why there is a line of code for margin-top? This line of code can be removed altogether?
Can you tell me the main theme folder file size that gets uploaded, and number of items in the file?
I’ve bought many themes over the years and some of them have way too much bloat in terms of files.

- the zipped theme in about 3 MB in size and around 10 MB unpacked
- the number of files is 451 of which 265 files are from the Kirki (Customizer settings) plugin that comes embedded with the theme

First of all, thank you for purchasing Angie. I’d also like to apologize for a late reply, and we’re truly sorry for any inconveniences.
The issue you’re having may be due to the PHP configuration limits that are set too low to complete the process. In that case, you should contact your web host and ask them to increase those PHP configuration limits to the minimum as follow:
max_execution_time 300 memory_limit 256M post_max_size 32M upload_max_filesize 32M max_input_vars 3000
Let me know if these changes did the trick.

There isn’t an option to set the welcome message width but you can go to the Customizer > Additional CSS and add the following rule:
.welcome-content-wrapper {
width: 80%;
margin: 0 auto;
}
Set the width to your desired values.
We will look into adding a review setting for posts in one of our future updates, but I can’t give you an ETA at the moment.

Is there any way to leave the thumbnails the same size? In related posts, search, archives.

To make the thumbnails the same size on all those pages you need to set the Homepage and Archive pages layouts to the List layout, because that’s the layout the Search page uses and it can’t be changed.
The Related posts thumbnail size is set and there isn’t an option to change it.

When I install the theme and update the Angie Plugin – it says successfully updated but when I go back to Plugins Page it says I have to update it again. This has happened several times.

First off, thank you for purchasing Angie.
There was a typo in the inc/plugins.php file which asks for the plugin version 1.0.1, where as the plugin’s version is 1.0.
We are uploading an update to fix the issue, but if you don’t wish to wait you can fix it yourself by doing the following:
In the admin area go to Appearance > Theme Editor Under theme files navigate to inc / plugins.php and on line 51 where it says:
'version' => '1.0.1',
change the 1.0.1 to 1.0
Press the update file and your done. It shouldn’t ask you to update now.
