Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. How do I shorten the text of the slider

Currently your can only shorten text only by adding less text on post you are using as a slide.

I need to link the slider item to a page. How can I do that?

You need to change “slider_url_value” custom field value for posts with external url’s to the url you want to use.

If you don’t see the custom fields section below your editor, then you probably need to check the appropriate box on your Screen Options panel.

The boxes allow you to name a new field and then insert something into the value box. You can then display what goes into the value box by putting code into your theme.

I’m having trouble with linking images.

When you edit the image on wordpress editor you need to add class ‘no_thickbox’ to that image under ‘Advanced settings’ tab to prevent your link from opening on lightbox window.

to add gray gallery you just need to add gallery shortcode

[gallery type="gray-gallery" link="file" order="DESC" columns="3" include="1,2,3,4,5,6"]

if you want to link those images to pages then change link=”file” attribute to link=”custom_url” and add links to each image.
