Great theme, thank you. I have a graphic in the footer that is skewed to the side in mobile view only. How do I move it left to right so that it is centered? It does not seem responsive. www.educateamericarightnow.org
We’re sorry, there was an issue with the Image Alignment option of the Single Image element in the recent version of WPBakery Page Builder. The image was set to “Left” by default. Thank you for reporting this issue, we just released the new update of the theme that includes the latest version of WPBakery Page Builder. You can find the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/aoraki-multiconcept-business-wordpress-theme/19652714#item-description__changelog
After you update the theme and all bundled plugins, you will need to change the “Image Alignment” setting of that image to “Default” to make it center on mobile view.
I have several multi-site and regular installations using Aoraki. After the latest updates to the theme and plugins, the multi-site back end has a bug that goes away when I disable the Wyde Core plugin. Specifically, when editing a page/post, the toggle button for “classic mode / backend editor” (just under the page title and permalink) is missing. Is there a problem with the multi-site on latest updates?
Missing button: multisite with Aoraki 1.3.3.1, WPBakery 6.9.0 and Wyde Core 3.9.3. When I disable the Wyde Core plugin, the button appears again (but the front end is broken of course).
Works as expected: multisite with Aoraki 1.3.1, WPBakery 6.6.0 and Wyde Core 3.9.1; also single/normal site with Aoraki 1.3.3.1, WPBakery 6.9.0 and Wyde Core 3.9.3.
I’m sorry but I’ve never seen this issue before. It’s working fine on our demo site that is a multi-site running on WordPress 6.0 with Aoraki 1.3.3.1 and WPBakery Page Builder 6.9.0. I’ve no idea why it doesn’t work on your site but try checking these:
1. Make sure you’re using the latest update of WordPress (6.0). After you update your WordPress site, please ensure that you’ve updated all the sites under Dashboard -> Upgrade Network.
2. If you’re using PHP 8, I would recommend downgrade to PHP 7.x to make sure everything will be working properly, as the bundled plugins are not fully compatible with PHP 8.
3. There may be plugin conflicts on your site. Try to deactivate other plugins to see if it works.
4. Also, if you have a caching plugin installed on your site. You may need to purge all caches after you update the theme and plugins.
If it still doesn’t work, you may need to send me the site login credentials so I can check it. You can send a private message through the contact form on our profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact

Hi there,
There is an error on your Blog page. If you have any blog posts element on that page, you need to remove it. When you set it as the Posts page. WordPress automatically displays the recent posts on that page, you don’t need to add any posts shortcode/element there.
Hi there, I did as you indicated but the problem still persists, the pages https://www.malikasurf.eu/blog/ and https://www.malikasurf.eu/yoga/ do not open and remain loading. Can you help me?
There is an error in a widget on your Blog page. Try checking your widgets under Appearance -> Widgets. In the Blog Sidebar, an error is from the widget next to the social icons widget. You may need to remove it to fix this issue.
Also, there is an error in the content element on your Yoga page. Looks like you’ve put something there. It might be a shortcode/element from the third party plugin. I have no idea what it is because the debug mode is disabled on your site so it doesn’t display the error details. You may need to deactivate your plugins one by one to find the problematic plugin.
To better identify and solve the problem, you will need to enable WordPress debug mode so you can see an error message and know exactly what the problem is. In order to enable WordPress debug mode, you have to edit the file wp-config.php in your WordPress installation directory as below:// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
You can find more details here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
All accordion and toggle elements on my site stopped working after recent upgrade from Aoraki 1.3.2, Wyde Core 3.9.2, WPBakery 6.8.0 to Aoraki 1.3.3, Wyde Core 3.9.3, WPBakery 6.9.0. The accordions and toggle appear normal on page load, but do not open when clicked. Is this a known bug, or is there any help you can provide me to resolve this?
Thank you so much for reporting this issue. We just released a hotfix a few hours ago. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Hi, there support! My website has just recently started displaying the latest blog article title as the title for my blog page, instead of ‘blog’. Has been working fine until the last week or so. You can take a look here. https://www.carrielloydshaw.com/blog/ Can you help with a fix/solution? TIA
We’re sorry, this is a bug in the recent update of the theme. It has been fixed in the latest version. Try updating the theme to see if it works.
Hi there, I can’t update two plugin: contact form 7 & WPBakery Page Builder
The answer when I try to update is:
Downloading the installation package from ../js_composer.zip…
Unpacking the package…
Installing plugins…
Unable to copy the file. ...wp-content/plugins/js_composer/license.txt
Plugin installation failed.
My purchase code is valid. Why the problem with the license?
This is my site https://www.malikasurf.eu/
Please let me know what I have to do.
Thanks a lot Filippo
That is not a license issue. This error is mainly due to the file permissions setting on your web server. Try to delete the WPBakery Page Builder plugin and install it again. After you delete it under the Plugins screen, you will see a notification message with the link to install it. You won’t lose any of your data and settings this way.
Sometimes this error occurred due to not enough disk space. Check on the available space in your web host cPanel.

Is there anything I can do about it? PHP 8.0.15
We’re sorry but the third party library used in the Wyde Core plugin is not compatible with PHP 8.0. We will update it in the future.
However, that is just a warning message you can disable the debug mode and use it with WordPress 5.9.
Hi, I updated my theme. Slider Revolution was not activated anymore and said to purchase my theme. I deleted and re-installed Slider Revolution, but nothing has changed. Will I need to purchase Slider Revolution separately?
The Slider Revolution plugin is included in the theme. You can normally use it without activating the product purchase code. The product registration option is available for direct customers who have purchased that plugin individually to enable automatic updates.
Hi, thank you, I understand that. But do you have an idea why I get the pop-up “purchase theme” on my homepage as a pop-up on top of the slider at the top ever since the update?
The popup message in the demo slider is just a dummy content. It isn’t a notification message from the plugin or theme. You can edit that slider to replace the placeholder text with your content.
Hi. My theme is Aoraki. I can’t get image captions to show.
I would like for captions (as well as the image “description,” if possible) to show for individual images on a page, as well as for images used in the portfolio. (In the case of the portfolio, I’d like for the caption/description to show in the Lightbox.) Thanks in advance!
Also, how do I change my email address for this support? Thanks.
How long does it typically take to receive a reply? Thank you.
My apologies for the late reply!
The theme can show the image caption but it doesn’t support the image description. There are 2 ways to show image captions in this theme.
1. In the Lightbox:
First, you need to enable the “Lightbox Image Title” option under Theme Options -> General.
The Lightbox will display the alternative text of the image. You will need to set the “Alt Text” field for your images from the metadata section on the right hand side of the Media Library window when you choose images to show.
2. Inline captions (below the images).
In the Classic Editor, simply click on the “Add Media” button above the post editor to select an image from the Media Library. You can add a caption to your image from the “Caption” field in the metadata section on the right hand side of the Media Library.
If you’re using WPBakery Page Builder, you can add images with inline captions by using a Text Block element. Click on the “Add Media” button above the text editor to add your images.
In order to change your email address, please follow the instructions on this page: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/204163534-How-do-I-change-my-Email-address-
Thank you for your response, but the Lightbox captions are not displaying. In the image metadata section, I have text in both the “Caption” and “Alt Text” sections. But, no text displays in the Lightbox. I am supposed to launch this website on Wednesday morning, so it is urgent that I get this figured out. Thanks for your help!
Please ensure that you’ve enabled the “Lightbox Image Title” option under Theme Options -> General.
If it still doesn’t work, you may need to send me your web address so I can check it.
It works! Thank you so much!
Now I’d like to style the portfolio Lightbox captions, making the text larger, center-aligned, etc. What CSS selector(s) would I use for that?
#lightcase-info { right: 0; left: 0; } #lightcase-info #lightcase-caption { font-size: 16px; text-align: center; }
Works great! Thank you so much!
Feeling stupid, but I can’t figure out how to reduce the vertical size of the blank white space below the slider and above the rest of the text on our home page. Thank you. https://educateamericarightnow.org/
HI support, I’m using footer bar version3 but my footer menu and social icons are sitting alongside each other (instead of the menu underneath). I’m not sure why, can you suggest a fix?
Actually, that is the way it’s supposed to be. The footer #3 displays the footer menu and social icons in the first row then the footer text in the second row.
If you have so many menu items and social icons, we would recommend you to hide one of them as you can see in the thumbnail preview of the footer version 3.
Hello, I have a multilingual site and I would like to upload a different footer based on the language, is this possible?
Thanks
Yes, you can translate the footer into another language using a multilingual plugin like WPML.
This theme comes with 2 parts of the footer. The first one is the footer bar that contains the footer text (a single line of the copyright text at the bottom of the page), you can translate it using a WPML String Translation module that’s included in WPML plugin.
The other is the footer content section before the footer bar, the content in this section is a page like any other pages on your site. You can translate it using a multilingual plugin like when you do with a page.
However, if you have a lot of pages and posts on your site and would like to translate them into multiple languages. I would recommend you to create a another site for another language. Using a multilingual plugin can increase your database size and slow down your site loading speed.
Greetings, I use polylang but it doesn’t give me the ability to edit the footer content before the footer like normal site pages. There is no indication of the language flags.
You will need to activate the translations for the “Footers” post type under Languages -> Settings in your WordPress admin area. In the “Custom post types and Taxonomies” module, click on “Settings” then select “Footers” and save changes.
Navigate to Theme Options -> Footer -> Footer Content, edit the footer page which you’re currently using as the main footer of your site. There will be a translation option so you can translate it into another language like any other pages.
Also, the theme will automatically display the translated version of the footer in the same language as the current page.
Further to my previous support query, I’ve narrowed the project down to the Wyde Core plugin.
I’m running Wordpress 7.2, I’ve updated the Aoraki theme, but when I update the assocated plugins – the Wyde Core plugin breaks the site. Posts on the Post Archive page no longer load.
Would be great to get some help with this, please?
Thanks
We’re sorry but we’ve never seen this issue before. Would you mind giving me your web address so I can check it?
You can send a private message through the contact form on our profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
Thank you for the login details!
There was an outdated script of the Instagram widget included in the custom version of “shortcodes.js” in your child theme.
I just edited it for you so it seems to be working fine now.
I’ve just updated Wordpress and the latest Aoraki theme plus plugins – following the installation of the plugins, the site has stopped loading completely. Can I privately send login details to show issue? Thanks
There may be plugin conflicts on your site. Try to deactivate your plugins to see if it works.
If it doesn’t work, you may need to send me your WordPress admin login details so I can check it. You can send a private message through the contact form on our profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
Hi, we tried to duplicate the Demo Main Page with “Duplicate Page” plugin in order to modify it, but it appears differently, as Page with white frame. Slide revolution is not in full screen type; In the superior part of the page it appears the page name with an image full screen “Home- Main Demo/Home/Home-Principal”. In such support area we don’t have possibility to show some screenshot. Furthermore we’ve tried to upload the demo but some image are not loadeble and we got “Error” even if we followed the instruction for modifying the web-site setting. Thanking you in advance for your assistance
LISF
P.S.: in case you will give us an e-mail address we can reply with screenshots.
First of all, please ensure that you’ve updated the theme and all bundled plugins to the latest version. You can find the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/aoraki-multiconcept-business-wordpress-theme/19652714#item-description__changelog
To get rid of the white frame around the page, you have to check 2 settings below.
1. Set the Layout under the Aoraki Options -> Page at the bottom of the page edit screen to “Wide”.
2. If you’d like to make the slider completely full the screen:
- You will need to set the Padding Size option in the Column Settings to No Padding:
- Also, you have to set the slider layout under Module General Options -> Layout on the slider edit screen to "Full-Screen": https://www.sliderrevolution.com/manual/modules-a-container-for-slides/#module-level-settings
Regarding the demo content, importing images can take several seconds to complete. You may need to increase the PHP limits to the minimum as follows before importing:
max_execution_time = 300 memory_limit = 256M post_max_size = 64M upload_max_filesize = 64M max_input_vars = 5000
You can find more details in the documentation: https://wydethemes.com/aoraki/documentation/#import-demo-content
However, it also depends on your web server configurations and limitations. If you’re using a basic plan or a shared web hosting, it might not be able to download some (large) images from the demo server. You may need to edit the page and manually replace those blank images with your images using the page builder.
If it still doesn’t work, you can send me your web address through the contact form on our profile page so I can check it: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
Hello. Love the theme. Suddenly getting this error on home page and cannot sign in to wp-admin:
“Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/customer/www/educateamericarightnow.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wyde-core/inc/vendor/redux-framework/inc/class.redux_filesystem.php on line 29”
This seems to be a compatibility issue with the old version of Redux Framework that’s included in the Wyde Core plugin. Please ensure that you’ve updated the theme and all bundled plugins to the latest version. You will find the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/aoraki-multiconcept-business-wordpress-theme/19652714#item-description__changelog
Also, you can find the instructions on how to update the theme here: https://wydethemes.com/aoraki/documentation/#update
Thank you. But, I cannot log into wp-admin. Is there a workaround?
I cannot log in to wp-admin and site access itself appears to be compromised. www.educateamericarightnow.org
That is just a PHP warning. Actually, it shouldn’t cause a fatal error on your site. I have no idea why it stops working because of this warning. This might be related to the PHP configurations on your web server.
However, to work around this issue you will need to delete the “wyde_core” folder in “wp-content/plugins” on your web server using FTP or a web file manager on your web hosting. After you delete it, you will be able to access your site to update the theme and all bundled plugins to make them compatible with the new PHP version.
Hi there, my website seems a bit sticky/glitchy when trying to scroll on mobile. Almost like it gets stuck and it takes a couple of swipes to scroll up or down. Would you mind checking it and letting me know how to resolve this issue? TIA (the site is: https://www.carrielloydshaw.com/)
We’re sorry but we’ve never seen this issue before. Everything seems to be working fine on our demo site.
This might be from one of your plugins, try to deactivate them one by one to find the problematic plugin.
so works fine on mobile for you? I’ve deactivated a bunch of plugins but left the other standard ones in place (no issues on another site where I’m using them)..could it be to do with any custom css I’ve loaded? TIA
Our demo site does work fine on mobile but your site seems a bit glitchy.
There may be an incorrect snippet in your custom CSS. Try to remove them all to see if it works. If this works, that means you have an incorrect one. Try using this tool to check it: https://codebeautify.org/cssvalidate
hi support, I’m trying to modify the colour of a subscribe button on my website (site not yet live). I’m using the following with no success? Can you see if there’s something missing? /* #mc_embed_signup .button { background-color: #F50A20; } */ TIA
My apologies for the late reply!
The CSS snippet to change the subscribe button is depending on which plugin you’re using and how it renders the form and button.
You may need to use the Inspect Element tool from the browser to find and edit the CSS and see your changes. You can find more details here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/basics-of-inspect-element-with-your-wordpress-site/
Also, you can try a style editor plugin to see if it works: https://codecanyon.net/item/yellow-pencil-visual-css-style-editor/11322180
hi there, thanks for the reply. I’ve tried modifying in the the style editor and it changes the button in there but when I put that code into the custom css section, there’s no change…would you mind taking a look. My site is now live: https://www.carrielloydshaw.com/ TIA
The default CSS style from MailChimp plugin is overriding your custom style.
You will need to add !important after your CSS value as below to make it work:#mc_embed_signup .button { background-color: #F50A20 !important; }
that’s great. thank you!
Hi support, can you please check my site: https://www.catherineyager.com.au/blog-weddings/ – the text from one of the articles isn’t contained within the ‘text box’ and is overtop of the image from another blog…can you provide a fix please? TIA
Looks like you’re using a lazyload plugin, you have to disable it when using a Masonry layout.
When using a lazyload plugin, all images will be replaced with a 1×1 pixel placeholder. The real images won’t be loaded until you scroll to them. This makes the dimension of the image in the post wrong then the posts will be aligned in a wrong position when using a Masonry layout.
If you’d like to use a lazyload plugin on your site, you will need to use another blog layout instead.
Hi support, My customer is asking if they can change the order of the social media icons (top header). They’re wanting LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and then Facebook to appear in that order. TIA
hi can i get an update on this please?
You will need to add the PHP filter below into functions.php in your child theme to change the order of the social media icons:
function aoraki_child_get_social_icons( $icons = array() ) { $icons = array( 'aoraki-icon-linkedin' => 'LinkedIn', 'aoraki-icon-youtube' => 'Youtube', 'aoraki-icon-instagram' => 'Instagram', 'aoraki-icon-facebook' => 'Facebook', 'aoraki-icon-behance' => 'Behance', 'aoraki-icon-deviantart' => 'DeviantArt', 'aoraki-icon-digg' => 'Digg', 'aoraki-icon-dribbble' => 'Dribbble', 'aoraki-icon-dropbox' => 'Dropbox', 'aoraki-icon-flickr' => 'Flickr', 'aoraki-icon-github' => 'Github', 'aoraki-icon-gplus' => 'Google+', 'aoraki-icon-pinterest' => 'Pinterest', 'aoraki-icon-reddit' => 'Reddit', 'aoraki-icon-rss' => 'RSS', 'aoraki-icon-skype' => 'Skype', 'aoraki-icon-soundcloud' => 'Soundcloud', 'aoraki-icon-tumbler' => 'Tumblr', 'aoraki-icon-twitter' => 'Twitter', 'aoraki-icon-vimeo' => 'Vimeo', 'aoraki-icon-vkontakte' => 'VK', 'aoraki-icon-yahoo' => 'Yahoo', ); return $icons; } add_filter( 'aoraki_get_social_icons', 'aoraki_child_get_social_icons' );
hi thanks for this!
