I get this error when I open the script locally.

and when I upload it onto a live server the slide doesn’t show at all. please help!
Hi there, The issue happens when you try to run Revolution Slider right from the filesystem instead of running it using a web server. For more details please refer to ou support forum. Have a nice day.

You can use some free plugins to make carousel on theme. Like owl-carousel plugin or slick slider.
