Did anyone work out how to make the drop caps happen when using visual composer? many thanks!!

DROP CAP style can be found in the typography css. Looks like this. Although I wish this were an easier optional style, you can disable and adjust it in your custom css

/* Drop Caps for First Letter in Blog Posts */ .entry-content > p:first-child:first-letter { float: left; font-size: 370%; margin-bottom: -5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 7px; color: #444; } @media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) { .entry-content > p:first-child:first-letter { margin-top: 16px; } }

My mobile menu is not working, it never worked, does anybody know why?

Thanks in advance..

This is a great theme. Do anyone know how they got the demo to show the main page the way it does – is it a static page?

Ah, I figured most of it out.

I have set up a static page as my homepage and the site is looking great (, but I can’t the posts under the teaser grid carousel (full width) to show up in a 2 column format. Seems whatever I do, the carousel ends up going into the two column format as well, and I want to override that and have the carousel stay full screen. Basically, trying to get it like your demo page. Any thoughts?? Thanks! Hope your health is well.

I just dont understand why with as talented as you are as a developer you dont just create a quick start package where I can just install Wordpress and have it look exactly like the demo out of the box. Many developers on here do that and I typically lean that direction. If you do that I will buy it. Otherwise based on the comments above it seems like a little too much work to get it like the demo. If it does include a quick start package let me know and I will buy it. Its a shame really. And no offense but the import does not work. It needs to be packaged with all the plugins installed and demo data exactly as the demo so we can spend our time customizing it and not just trying to make it work. Its a fantastic looking theme and would have been perfect for my needs. I can build my own sites MDNW, I come here to save time.

Again, this is in no way intended to be an insult to your work because as I said, It is really nice. You should just consider a quick start option for this. I would be willing to bet it would increase your sales allot.

Love the theme. Am considering a purchase. The only question I have is about the post excerpts.

On the demo, it appears your blog posts are excerpted. However, there is no link or anything prompting to ‘read more’ or ‘continue reading’ or anything of that nature. Are such links not in the theme? If not, would it be easy to add them?

Theme options do not appear. Just bought the theme and useless as of now. please fix! thanks.

Hi – loving the theme. Have got most of it set up and working fine. One thing bugging me about the post previews.

• How do I get the post preview on my home page to show a longer exert of the text? At the moment it only gives me 6 lines. • Can I get the feature image to be larger in the post preview? • How do I increase the amount of posts previewed on a static home page? • Is it not possible to pull all the images i’ve placed in the post through to the preview?

This is a brilliant theme but I am a designer that wants to show lots of large images on the homepage and feel incredibly restricted by the post preview feed set up as it is. Please help.

Hello, I sent a private message to you regarding you pulling support for another theme, Reaction, from Themeforest. Do I need to be concerned about you supporting future themes? I would like to know before purchasing anything else from you.

Hello – the responsive menu doesn’t work. Any ideas on how to get that working?

I have a pre sale question.

Can I make pages with that theme? Like an “about me page” or “my services”?

Kind regards

Hello there, loving the theme so far! Although, one snag – having trouble with the responsive (mobile) navigation. It appears to not be working at all. My mobile device works when loading the site preview on theme forest; however, it does not work on my live site. Any suggestions?

Looks like you haven’t replied to anyone in the comments section for 5 months. I have also submitted two tickets to the support forum that have not been responded to for over a week. Really need some help figuring out this mobile navigation, as of now it is inoperable.

I got an email saying this theme was update? Maybe for WP 3.9? But I don’t see the update :/

Hi Matt! The latest files should be available from your Downloads page in your account here – The version number should be 4.0 :)

Trying to install updated version and getting this error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/atlantica/functions.php on line 87

Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi Sounds! Try uninstalling the OptionTree plugin if you are a previous user – And let me know if this is what fixes the issue – We updated a LOT in terms of that options framework – I did my best to ensure that it wouldn’t cause any issues for previous users, but I’ll be more than happy to check things out and release another patch this week if it does indeed cause issues for any updating users :)

I didn’t even get an email that there was a theme update…how can I get this??

Hi Amanilafoodaffair! I’m not sure why an email wasn’t sent out to be honest, but you can always download the latest version from the Downloads page here on ThemeForest – just re-download the theme package and the new files will be in there :)

The “live demo” button takes me to Bar & Grill. Is Atlantica no longer available?

Best wishes, ALice

PS Has Gather been updated?

Hi again – the WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin needs to be updated, but when I try to do this I am directed to purchase the plugin. Since this theme already has the plugin included, how do I go about getting this update? Thanks
