Is it possible to move the menu under the logo? My logo is pretty long, and it squeeses the menu now…

Hello again. Many themes are advertised as “based on the default theme” so no core files are modified. This should enhance compatibility with 3rd party modules and so on, right? Does “Autumn” belong to this type of theme? I’m planning to install some powerful modules such as “Advanced Search 4” and I’d prefer a theme that doesn’t break up with that.
Yes, Autumn is based on default theme. It’s not modifiying any core files.
But I’d like to point out something, some modules actually can brake any theme visually. If they are adding extra elements such as Texts, Input boxes or anything else into the pages like Product Pages, Category Pages, Shopping Cart or Homepage, they will probably brake the theme. Of course they will be visual problems. Functionalities will be okay if the theme or modules doesn’t modify the core files.

A silly question. How do I translate Autumn Theme – Easy Product Navigaton Module?
When you are at the beginning of a category you can read this text:
You are in the first product of the category
I have searched everywhere and don’t really know how to translate that sentence.

Thank you for your kind words. It’s silly me actually You need to edit the module file. It’s “modules/autumnproductnav/autumnproductnav.php”. On line 93 & 107, you will see the texts. Please replace the ” (double quote) from beginning end ending of the texts with ’ (single quote). So they will look like:
$this->l(‘You are in the first product of the category’);
Then you can translate them from back-office, select “Installed module translations” and “defult”.

We would like to know if your whole template is multilingual or if it only concerns the slider.
It’s multilingual, you can translate it very easily using the Prestashop’s internal translation system. Slider is a custom module that I developped just for Autumn theme and it’s capable to show different slide images for different languages.
This theme is superb for me, clean design and responsive features. Though, it’s all new stuff for me so I have to know some things about it:
1) Header\Logo. Would I be able to put the logo of the site and not the text via menu\preferences without code editing or stuff like that? Like an appropriately sized png?
2) Is there a way of enabling grid view of more than 12 in the theme preferences? Will I have pages and it constantly load stuff when I will scroll down?
3) I will need the Currencies and Languages toggles moved to the upper right corner near Account button.
4) Also is it possible to lock the header and filter so they won’t move when scrolling down?
5) What preferences the filter has? Is it easy ajustable?
6) Can I change background via preferences?
7) Would I be able to get some help\advises in case some third party module will break some visuals? I plan to use Loginza add-on and intergrate YouTube clips, I also plan to add Data Sheet to the Reviews and Comments section – is also possible via some preferences\back office?

1) You can upload your own .png logo via Prestashop’s preferences. If it’s properly sized, it won’t be a problem.
2) You can set product count. It’s one of the core features of the Prestashop. Auto load is not available in Prestashop, you will get pagination, you have to click next / previous page buttons.
3) Well, it’s not impossible to do but to achieve that, the header must be built from scratch. Header is one of the most problematic areas of the Prestashop.
4) Again they aren’t impossible but very time consuming things to do. Because of the current layout and responsive structure you may have to change a lot of things.
5) The filter is one of the core features of the Prestashop. It’s called “Layered Navigation Block”. It’s pretty flexible. It will get all Product Attributes and their Values that had been added.
6) Theme hasn’t got “background change” option yet.
7) Unfortunately I can’t help you with custom modules. It means a lot of customization and I really don’t have time to do them.
I can help you with technical problems and little customizations such as changing background color or adjusting logo but for the bigger things like rearranging header you may need to hire someone to do it for you.
Sercan, a suggestion. I have had people checking out the test site and the one thing they mentioned is that they are looking for a place to “Register”. They see Log In but assume you have to be registered already. For future updates is there a way you could add the word “Register/Log In” at the Top right corner? The link works for both already and for my customers it would be clearer. They have been spending time looking for where to register….some just won’t click on log in – I guess they are less adventurous?! ;] I’m adding it to my site, but thought I’d mention it.
Thank you for your suggestion. I added that to my huge list to not to forget. Actually I don’t like the fact that there is a My Account button even if you’re not logged in. But it’s the default behaviour of the default theme, I really don’t want to mess too much with the original stuff like that, but I will definitely change things in the future for better UI experience.

The first step is to create an account. Ok, no problem.
But, normally, when i create an account in one page checkout, the message in payment method change from “Please, login to see the payment methods” to “Please, accept the CGV” or “Please, choose your shipping” (i do not remenber).
But in you theme, after the account information saved, the message do not change.
It’s not a big deal, becasue the payment methods show up when we check the CGV, but it’s disturbing…

first congrats for the great theme, really proffesional work, every detail is made perfect.
However, before byuing it I would like to make a small feature request,
can you please integrate google rich snippets into the theme for breadcrumb, products, categories, reviews and etc. I’m sure youre familiar with them, and I guess you can do this quite easy.
It will be great PLUS for your template !
Please let me know if this is possible, and maybe when do you plan the next update for the theme ?

That was a great suggestion. I played with them little bit, product name, price, review they are all good. But breadcrumb in Prestashop is little tricky. I will try little bit more to see if I can do something about it.
I can update the theme after adding snippets but I can’t give any exact date for that. Maybe sometime in next week.

Sercan, not sure if I should open a help ticket. I can’t figure out how to save my photos to make sure they are not soft in the slider. I’ve put them in with Illustrator, I’ve tried different sizes, I’ve tried Photoshop to create the banners for the sliders. I’ve tried different resolutions. I looked in your set up and installation documentation and I don’t see anything suggested for resolution or size. They are all starting out as RAW so files large enough. I usually create banners in Illustrator (CS5). Maybe I should open a ticket? Thanks!
I’m using 1920 * 450px images for sliders. And I’m creating them in Photoshop. Mines are looking blurry too but I think they are big and bright enough to keep it minimal. I blame NivoSlider. There isn’t really solution for that except changing the slider and I will do that eventually. There are some cool sliders in CodeCanyon and I will implement one of them.
Thanks! I’ll try that size to see what happens. And I’ll make them in Illustrator and Photoshop to see what works better. Don’t plan on changing them a lot for this small shop so once I get them there, no problem. Your people looked just fine and the background blurry a bit so nice! Mine are all just blurry.
This worked. They are looking much better now! Now I’m going to play with the quality of the images to see if I can lower it a bit so they load faster.
That’s great. You can reduce the jpg files quality to the 70 – 75 (in Photoshop). It won’t be noticeable by the eyes, I’m always doing that.

I forgot to activate “CCC (Combine, Compress and Cache)” feature, that’s why it’s all messy in IE. It’s a known IE bug, it doesn’t load more than 31 CSS file. You can activate the CCC in your back-office, “Advanced Parameters > Performance” page. There is a section called “CCC (Combine, Compress and Cache)”. Select “Use CCC for CSS” option and then save the configuration. That will fix the IE issue.

- can your theme work with more frontends in different languages and different currencies and only one backend (multistore function) as I will sell in different eu contries?
- I have a very simple product (coloured contact lenses) and only one brand and WILL NOT have an account / login for the costumer – is that possible?
- I have free freight and will therefore and because of no account like to have a one-page-checkout – is that possible?

I’m always writing back but I might have missed your e-mail. It can be happen sometimes, especially when I’m dealing with support requests, sorry about that.
If you just want different currencies and languages you don’t need multistore feature. Prestashop already has multilanguage and multi currency support. Multistores are usually using for selling different type of products under different shop names and under different domains.
Also multistore feature actually nothing to do with themes. Modules need to support multistore feature in order to work properly. Autumn Theme comes with various custom modules and all of them are supporting multistore (i.e. you can put different slider images for different shops).
Prestashop has one-page checkout system but for disabling login/register page you’re going to need modifications. I’m sorry but I can’t help you with modifications or customizations.
I just realized you are sending the same comment another items too. There is nothing wrong to asking same questions to multiple people/author because I can imagine you need a theme and you want to best one to fit your needs. But saying something “send you a list of questions direct to you but never got an answer” even if you didn’t sent any of us anything is not cool!
I (and other authors too, we’re a community here) will be very happy to help you but just ask your questions without lying.
Thanks for your comments – but i would like to say that i am not a lying – I did send the message to you and others in here with responsive PrestaShops themes – and I got in every case a message – email send and a green sign or something simular so i am quiet sure it is send – and templatin answered the same day so I know that some of my message come to the authors – but i can not say you all received it – only i know some did and that i in every case got a positiv message that my mail was send

Hi, here is another advice needed to solve my problem in Autum template site. In CMS pages, I can upload image files like png without problem and see the files in img/cms folder. However, when I try put the uploaded images to CMS pages (about us, delivery etc), images are not displayed. Even, preview windows does not show any images that have been uploaded. What should I do for solving the problem. Please advise me. Thank you for your kind help in advance.
There could be several reasons for that. Like permissons, wrong urls or firendly urls. I can’t help you without seeing it. Please open a support ticket in the support ticket system and send me your login details. You can find the support ticket system’s link in the item description.

I had one idea for update, if U can manage to add new functionality to featured special product module on front page, it would be nice for product to slide themselves after some time interval, because there are 10 of them but customers has to slide them manually if it would be automatic that would be just great.

1- I assume you are talking about breadcrumb. Please refer to the “After Installation” section of the documentation.
2- You need to enable the jqZoom. To do that in your back-office navigate to “Preferences > Products” page. There is a section called “Product Page”, select Yes for “Enable JqZoom instead of Thickbox on product page” and save the configuration.
3- Currently there isn’t an easy way to add your own social links. But I’m working on that. You will be able to add your own icons and links after the next update.

That 2nd navigator is breadcrumb. It’s in the documentation, “After Installation” section. Here, I’m copying from the documentation:
Go to your Prestashop Admin Panel and navigate to “Preferences > Themes”. Under the Appearance section there is a “Navigation Pipe” option. Change the default navigation pipe with “Space”. If you just delete the current navigation pipe, it will be reverted to the default one when you hit the save button. So, please make sure to put one “Space” in the text box.

Those features actually nothing to do with themes. Themes are just for the looks and maybe couple of modules that improving the user experience.
