Do you mean to add more fields to the form? Right now the only way to do that is to edit the contact.php file and add more fields manually. Or if you are not comfortable with that, you can always use Contact Form 7 plugin which is free and allows you to use as many fields as you want. You can insert the form shortcode plus a google map embed code onto a page.
You might also want to post this up and search on our forum for the contact fields I believe this has come up from another user who posted what he did to add more fields.
My tweets aren’t showing up in the footer. I’ve input all the information needed and its still not showing up. Any solutions?
Hi Are you using the newer version of Avada that has the new twitter widget that uses consumer keys, etc? If so, please make sure you are only using your twitter Id, not the URL.
Also, double check you copied all the codes over correctly from the twitter app.

And since the weekend is upon us the response time will be longer on the forum. Usually its about the same on the weekend as the week, like 6-8 hours, but we have a staff member on vacation for the weekend and are short handed. We answer threads from oldest to newest so we will get to it soon!

This theme looks great and I am interested in purchasing Avada but my product galleries need to be oriented so the photos are in portrait orientation. I noticed your portfolio examples are landscape oriented photos. Is there a way for me to change the orientation of the 4 column text portfolio layout so the photos are taller than they are wide (portrait orientation) and still have room for the text below? Is there an area to change the standard width/height of the photos in the portfolios? Thank you
Yes by default they will be horiz. There is away you can change it, but it does require some manual editing, but we do have a step by step guide on our support forum for how to do it. When you do it though, it will need to be all the same size as it is now, but you can choose that size. And sometime in the near future we will include a masonry portfolio layout that will allow you to use both orientations on the same page. that will come in an update, and all future update are free once you buy
Any plans to add a Table Shortcode (not pricing based) in future updates? Individual column size would ideally be able to be set as well.
Yes sir! Its already done (2 tables) and will be included in our upcoming update which we are working on now. I cant give an exact date but it will be soon. All future updates are free as well once you buy the theme.
This is a nice theme, the only thing is i found some confusing the support forum, I can´t see where i can create a new topic.

For the forum, please scroll down to the bottom of the avada section when logged in, you will see the “Create A New Topic” fields. They are all the way at the bottom of the page. We will be changing that with a new site design soon.
For the sidebar, you just need to select your portfolio layout, then in the page options box (below the page editor field) you can select “Portfolio: Full Width: Yes Or No”, choose “No”. then you can choose “Portfolio: Sidebar Position: Left or Right.

I bought Avada theme, I need to know how I can activate the banner slides.
The plugins are already activated, you need to go and build your slides then assign them to a page. You can also download our demo slides from our support forum to import.

Yes we’re sorry about that, Themeforest just changed the location of the license certificate two days ago. Its now located under the “download” button. You have to click the download button, then a popup menu comes up, you can then choose to download the license certificate from the list.

What about the the Masonry Portfolio?
There is a PSD file included in AVADA 2.1.3 Contents Folder.

It shows a great kind of Portfolio but i can’t find it in the control Panel of AVADA.

Yes there is a PSD for it but its not implemented into the design yet. Anything on our demo is in the WP file, the PSD’s are more for design and will be used at one point. The masonry portfolio layout is coming in 1-2 updates.

Hi Not at this time, but we are going to try and include the ability to autoplay the carousel so it loops without any clicking.

Yes there is a search field o our blog pages or sidebars. You can use it in any sidebar.
You can also use it on header 4 http://theme-fusion.com/avada/header-4/
And you can choose to use it in the page title bar instead of the breadcrumbs

I was playing around with LayerSliderWP and found a weird behavior:
- have one layer containing an image, then applied “Layout & Position” with custom style. The preview looks OK but the live website the image shows up as full width.
My debug: I inspected the image and can’t find my css properties anywhere, even overlapped. I see that the image has full width in the inline style. The only way I was able to set the width was by using !important.
Why is this? Am I doing something wrong?
It could be a few things, we would need you to post on our forum so we can get your login info and see your admin panel.
One thing that first comes to mind is what is your slider size set at? Do you have “px” after the width and height?
First of all, congratulations for the theme. It’s really nice, with a modern design and a lot of features. Now, I was wondering if you could please add Stumbleupon and Delicious in the Theme Options > Social Sharing Links, in order for the icons to appear in the sidebar and header like the other ones? I think they’re really important. I know that we can put custom icon names, images and links, but that will ruin the whole design. And maybe in the future, if possible, a 2 sidebars option (both left and right) would be great! Sometimes only one sidebar is not enough for all the widgets (too much scrolling) .

thanks for the comments! Yes we can certainly add those two socail icons, I’ll put thoe on our update list. And the double sidebar option is already on there and will be implemented in the next few versions, and I’ll make sure the social icons are on the next 1-2 versions.

Even better! I forgot to mention one thing. It would be nice if Stumbleupon and Delicioos would appear in the blog posts as well. And have you considered adding counters to those social icons that are found inside the posts? Just asking…:D. Seems kinda hard to find a decent social plugin with counters that could be added at the bottom of the post. Most of them are lacking social icons or they differ in height or width, not to mention that some don’t work properly. Think this idea will be highly appreciated by many and will get you more sales:D.
Yeah we have considered counters, that design would need to change to add that. Or maybe we could add that in the rollover popup effect. I’ve noted that as well.
As for the social share box, we have added Pinterest in our new update as that was requested. I’ll add those 2 social icons to the list for the share box as well.
The rollover effect is a cool idea, but i think if the counters are already shown when a viewer accesses the site, they have a psychological effect. When a viewer accesses the site and sees that a post has, let’s say 200 likes, 300+, 500 tweets etc, it’s most likely that he would read that article (and even share it afterwards) because he thinks: “Hey, that looks like a good article judging by the amount of shares”.
But, in the end, any counters are better than no counters .

Go to theme options on the “general” tab and uncheck “allow comments on all pages”
Hi, Awesome theme its working out great for me so far. One question, is there a dark theme version that I am missing somewhere? I saw a .psd file but I don’t see any skins. I would really love to have a dark version without have to go in and change a ton of things via css. Thanks.
The PSD was the initial design but it was not implemented yet. But the GOOD NEWS is its coming in our new version, which will be ready in a couple weeks! It looks really good too and will be fully customizeable!

Yes there will be New shortcode drop down with icons/titles and about 40 new shortcodes to go along with it Many of them are grouped under on heading, but when you click it you will get to choose 4-5 layouts, its very cool

Is there any potion to make header sticky?
(The top navigation bar that remains at the top of the page even when a user scrolls the page. This makes navigating to other parts of the site easy).

I’m looking for some solution to build sticky mega (with a lot of content) menu.
There is no sticky header yet, but we are going to be adding it very soon, probably in the next 2 versions.
And we have not tested mega menu, but we have fully tested and approved Ubermenu, its one of the top selling items on codecanyon every week.

Well our next version, 3.0 will be done in a couple weeks. The one after that is hard to say, development changes so much and we always need to take time for user feedback and testing. Usually we update the theme every 4-6 weeks. The sticky header will most likely come in the following version after 3.0, but I also cant guarantee that but its at the top of my list for that version.
The good news is we are always updating the theme with new features so when you do buy, you will get a new update about every 4-6 weeks. Hope this helps!
