Yes the site is 100% iphone, ipad compatible, its fully responsive.
See this link below to see waht its like on mobile devices. Also, you can fully turn that off if you wish and use the desktop fixed version on all devices, which is the same version you will see on your main computer.
hey guys. Unfortunately, I still can’t locate the item purchase code. My Download button doesn’t do dropdown, only keeps downloading the theme ( left or right click). I’ve looked everywhere. Any other ideas? I do wish, Themeforest stopped fixing issues that aren’t there!

Oh no! It should be there, its been changed for everyone across the marketplace. Can you try another browser to see if it works. On our end, it just takes one single click to activate the dropdown menu for the button, then you cna pick anything else.
I’d try it in other browsers, if that does not work then you would need to contact Themeforest.
Is there something quick I can assist you with here? You will definitely need to get that code for the forum and any deeper level support issues but if you have some questions now let me know and I will see if I can answer them here.

Just a suggestion could you please have the page/page featured images embed the system Alt & Title tag? Currently it leaves it blank. Also can you have the link associated with the image embed the post or page title.
Maybe these are options in the page or option in the theme admin.

Hi, great theme. I’m considering buying it ! Need to know if it is possible to create a homepage with a vertical navigation menu on the left instead of the navigation menu on top of the page ?
You could use the side navigation template for any page, including the home. But out of the box its going to still show the top horiz menu on all pages. The theme would need to be modified to not show the default main menu up top. Maybe this is something we can look into for a future release, possibly allow users to hide the main navigation on pages. I’ll make a note!

Hmmm, yes that should be possible. I would need you to post this up on our forum though, our staff/developer would need to answer that and see if that is something that they can give you changes for. Theres not an out of the box option so the widget code would need to be modified to allow for that.

Is it possible to change the colors/scheme of the header/title lines AND the tab backgrounds with CSS? Or are they images? Honestly, that gray is just way too light for my taste, it barely discernable on my screens here (for my client).
Just curious if this is CSS or an image. Hopefully it’s an easy fix to darken this gray

The header titles lines are currently an image but that has been changed in our new update that is almost done. There is a theme option to change teh color of them to anything you want. The gradient tab background is currently an image also but we’ll probably be changing that soon for better flexibility. But for now you could modify the tab background, its a small single image. It was meant to be very subtle, but you can simply open up the image file, darken it then save it and it will update in the site We can help you with that on our forum if you need it. Both are easily changed now, and will be easier in our new update.
WOW! This is the most complex theme I ever bought and I am kinda sick of using it already …
I wish there had been a slider that would just feature the lastest blog entries or something like that …
Anyway, I created my own “Home”-page and I disabled the comments. Now there’s written “Die Kommentarfunktion wurde geschlossen.” (Comments are closed) at the bottom of the page which is really ugly.
Is there a better way than disabling the comment feature on for the page?
Otherwise I guess that I’ll have to delete the sentence in the translation file for German.
Oh, it would be nice if the “Recent_Post” feature would support scrolling like “Recent_Works”.
You can see everything that comes on our demo before you buy the theme Also, the flex slider has new shortcodes in our upcoming version that do pull posts from the blog. Currently we do not have a slider that does that, as you can clearly see from the demo. But it is coming soon.

You asked questions and your questions were answered. Not sure why you are so disappointed, the answers were given and given in a timely manner. No need to be so disappointed. And yes you asked questions, but also put multiple comments about the theme that had nothing to do with the questions. Your comment was not made up of only questions, if so it would not of been flagged. We felt the comment was inappropriate, Im sorry if you disagree. Maybe we are on different pages and the comment was misunderstood, if so I apologize. But I read it multiple times and the first sentence of that comment was the reason why it was flagged.
Every questions you asked were answered, right? Do you have further questions for us?
It would also be great if you could explain what is so “complex” about the theme and why you are so “sick” of using it. We’ve never heard either of those 2 statements before. As a matter of fact, we’ve had dozens of first time wordpress users give rave reviews for how easy it is to use. That comment itself is very perplexing to us.
It would be very helpful for us to get actual feedback of WHY its like that. We always welcome feedback from users, and if something is wrong then we certainly fix it. Care to elaborate on this?

Headings Font Color:
Is used for the “Page Title Bar Background”=text and also for the sidebar, person-”code” etc.
This really bad because my “Page Title Bar Background Color” is BLUE (#1b80b6) and black text is kinda unreadable. If I use white than it doesn’t work for the other use-cases!
It took me a while to figure that out b/c I wasn’t using the sidebar and was wondering why the name/position in the “person”-code didn’t work.
I stopped using the page title bar because of that.
I have no clue how I can change the spacing. I dislike the empty line between the picture and the name and between the role and text! It doesn’t look as if it belongs together. Especially with twitter/facebook at the far right.
There is no explanation on how the code works. It is easy to add only empty variable (cat=”“) but it took me a while to figure out that “recent_works” with a scrolling is something different.
I couldn’t get recent_works with a cat_id=”” working with a normal blog category (recent_works cat_id=”“][/recent_works).
Why? I don’t know! I couldn’t find an explanation in the documentation.
I also would like to have parts of the title in bold! For example “Lastest <-strong>Entries</-strong>”. It doesn’t work! I assume a title can’t be bold or something like that.
There is no “Social Media” in the theme options as a category.
It took me a while to find out that “Social Sharing Box”, “Social Sharing Links” aren’t the only options. There is something hidden in “Lightbox Options”, too!
I wish there had been one place in the theme options for everything.
Header Options => Select a Header Layout
I had no clue that the 3. option (green on top with social icons rights) had a grey line at the bottom. I was trying all theme options until I tried the 1. option to see the line disapper. The preview is a little bit useless because you can’t see all elements of the header.
I really miss an “easy to use – working out of the box”-slide as I mentioned in my last comment. For example in the theme “continuum” you just have to mark blog entries with #spotlight and you have a working slider with your recent blog entries.
I really miss something easy to setup and dynamic without spending so much time and very nice but to complex sliders for my use case.
It is nice to have a documentation but it doesn’t really explain everything. For example there is only demo code for
I hope you can see why I was very disappointed in the beginning. I want to like your theme … that’s why I bought it in the first place!

1. Heading Font Color – for now what you need can be done with a little CSS that we can gladly give you on the forum, just post a thread! Better news is that our new version has individual fields for each heading, so you can change h1-h6 independently, and there is also an individual heading for the “page title text”. See screenshot for those new options
2. Person Shortcode – this is how it is designed and how it shows on our demo. That is the default spacing. But you can change that with CSS and we will gladly give that to you on our support forum, simply fill out a new thread for that. No theme gives spacing options for things like that, it would be way to complex for the user. That is considered a customization, but we will gladly assist with that on our forum. A single line of CSS can take care of that.
3. Recent News – this is for blog posts. Which is why its called recent “news”. It pulls directly from the blog posts. Recent Work is for the portfolio, which is why its called “work.”
Recent work will ONLY work with your portfolio items, not blog. So you need to enter a portfolio category if you are using recent work. And the same is true for recent news, it will only work with blog category. They are individual shortcodes built for different things.
Again, this is something we can easily answer for you on the forum, and we can explain any questions you have. The titles you make, like “Latest Entries” are text you input. If you want it bold, simply select the text and make it bold in the editor. That is Wordpress function, not Avada.
As for the slider style you want for recent news, that is just not something we have included. But we always take request from users for things like this. I will add this to our update list. And our upcoming update has 3 new recent news shortcode design styles to choose from, and 3 new recent work styles to choose from.
4. Social Media Options – Yes there is a social media section in theme options. The “social links” tab in theme options are all the social links that you can use on the site, its for the social icons in header, footer,or for the shortcode or social sharing box. Users have to have a place to enter the the links to your specific social services. When you enter your facebook page link there, it will be used for the facebook icon.
The “social sharing box” tab in theme options works directly with the “social share box” on the single blog posts. Its for sharing stories. Only specific social networks can do that, which is why there is a separate tab in theme options for “Social Sharing Links”, simply insert your links there and it will work with the social share box.
The lightbox is a lightbox, and has its own social media icons. But the links you input for “Social Links” in theme options will work for that. That is the most popular lightbox used on the web, I’d say 90% of themes use it and its the exact same on our theme as others.
5. Header Options – the previews in theme options can only be so big, and its a 1px line so its going to be hard to see unless its on the site. Not much can be done about that, simply select the one you want and see if you like it. Or you can look on our live demo, we have all of them listed there.
As for the gray lines, this is also a new theme option that is added in our upcoming release, you can change any and every color element on the site now, including that 1px gray line
6. Sliders – Easy to use working out of the box slider? No problem, you can use the Elastic Slider, Flexslider or Themefusion slider. All of those are easy to use, simply insert your image and assign a group, then assign it to a page. The flex slider is the exact same easy to use slider that is used on every theme out there. Its a standard image/video slider.
And please check out our slider docs and video tutorials. It shows you how to build a slider for each and every one we include.
7. Documentation – I certainly dont want to sound like we’re beating our own drum here, and I apologize if it does sound that way But the truth is our docs are some of the best around. Seriously, we’ve seen just about all of them.
I dont understand the example you gave for recent news and work? Where did you see that at? We give the demo code for each and every home page, the entire set of page code is there. Its under the “Setting Up The Home Pages” section. And we also give it for the multiple about us, services, meet the team pages under their respective sections.
And we are always adding new stuff to our docs, any new features that come up and any request from our users. But we do try to keep it limited to most commonly used stuff. It is very hard and really unneeded to include everything for a premium theme in the docs, but it really does cover a huge portion of it, probably more than 85%. The other 15% are things that would simply bloat the docs and are items that have so many variables that it would only confuse users. And that 15% that is not there is why we offer support. Its much faster for the user to ask a specific question than scan through pages and pages of docs for specialize things. All you need to do is ask us and we will help. If you cant find anything, dont waste time, signup at our forum and post up a new topic. Or perform a forum search, there are tons of answers already there waiting to be found. Also be sure to check our FAQ section on our forum, it has 3-4 pages of commonly asked questions.

Yes I agree, it is a little hard to find info on this matter. For something like that, there is only one license you can get and that is the single license. One $45 purchase is good for one site. So if you need 13 then you would need to buy 13 licenses. Sounds like a lot but $45 for one complete wordpress theme is insanely good price

Sure Its controlled in the menu section of tyour admin like any other menu. Its called the “Top” menu. Create a new menu for it or modify the one that is there.

HI, I’m interested in buying your theme that looks interesting under many aspects. What is weak commpared to some competitors in my opinion is the number of short-code to desing elements on pages. I would like to know if the next update, close to be released to what I understand, will come with an enriched shortcode set that I consider very helpful.
If not (or better in any case) is your theme compatible with free shortcode creator plugins available in the WP repository? And which is the one you consider best to integrate Avada?
Hmm, we do present shortcodes them differently on our live demo and combine them into single pages verses listing them out on individual pages as other themes do. But all our pages you see on our demo were built using shortocdes.
But here is the great news for you, our new upcoming update includes over 35 new shortcodes and many of our already existing shortcodes have lots of new parameters added for even more customizations It will be a very complete list, and all our shortcodes are extremely flexible and customizable. The new pages you can build with them are awesome!

Yes they will all be accessed via the visual editor. We’ve made a new icon for them and they are all collected under one big drop down menu with the name and icon. It’s much more clear than it was before. We’re very excited about 3.0!

Hi guys! I can´t find anywhere how to update for the newest Avada theme. It may be easy an obvious, but as a novice in WP I really don´t know.
I have already downloaded it and tried to upload as a new theme in WP, but it denies as an existing folder.
I didn´t find anything about how to do it in the documentation, and can´t enter the forum – i had an account once but forgot the password, and it´s not recognizing user or e-mail (plus the link to show my purchase code isn´t showing in that page – so I´m completely stuck on how to update for the newest theme. Sorry for the basic question.

Yes you would need to remove the old version of the theme before you upload a new one via Wordpress. ITs easier to do it via FTP, you simply replace the existing “Avada” theme folder.
See these two links below on our forum. Make sure you are signed up for the forum so you can view the links. Or you can watch the install video, it shows you how to install it via FTP towards the end, updating it is also the same process. The only difference in updating it is if you do it via Wordpress. You have to remove the current Avada theme to upload the new one.

Is it possible to have any other menu type on phones? That dropdown is so small to read not the type of thing most users are used to looking for..
We use the standard single drop down menu. You might be viewing the mobile site with the top themeforest bar. You need to close that out. Please view this link on mobile.
Its the same. Says “Go to:” in a dropdown. Theres no way to have a regular menu?
Well yes, you would need to turn responsive off in theme options on the general tab. But doing that will give you the regular fixed layout, which is not adapted to smaller screens.
Responsive means it adapts to the screen size, the single dropdown menu is the best option for something like a phone. 100% of responsive sites use that. A full menu, like on desktop would be much smaller as it would be scaled down to fit on one line.
If you turn responsive off in theme options, then it will use the desktop fixed layout for all devices and screens. It has to be one way or the other, either single dropdown for responsive layout, or the regular menu with non-responsive layout

this is a great theme, congratulations. I intend to buy it but before I need to know if I can workaround some specific requirements related to forms:
1. i need a customized form in the slider
2. i need a customized form as a widget
3. i need a customized form opening as a popup when user clicks on a link(button)
Please let me know If the theme meets these requirements or otherwise if you have any suggestions for easy implementation.

1. The layer and rev slider can take any HTMl content so you can build a customized form in either of them. We do not include one out of the box to be used in the slider, but you can build one for it.
2. I would suggest using contact form 7 plugin, its free and can do what you need
3. Again I would recommend a plugin for this. Not sure which one since you need it as a popup, but I’ve seen our users who have something similar so I know it can be done. But it would need to be a 3rd party plugin as its not a theme feature we include. in doing that the styles may be different as you said, but styles can be changed.
