Have you modified any of the theme code? If not, then most likely that is a plugin conflict, please try to disable your plguins to find which one it is.
If the issue persists, please post this up on our support forum and our support team will take good care of you. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

I purchased this theme and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, I cannot get my revolution slider images to look nearly as good as the ones in the Avada live preview.
How do I get the soft background images that you have? For example, you have the ‘beach’ behind the lady and the couple walking in the background.

I found the video online but I’m not sure how to find those kinds of images in stock photo sites.
Well it depends on how you have this setup. If you are placing your main images in background, then they will be scaled up. We use a solid color as background on some, then place our image as the first layer. The edges are faded our in photoshop, but that is only on the slider on our default home page. You do not have to fade out the edges for it to look good, we only did it to that one slider based off those images.
The beach behind the lady and couple in backgrounds are 940px wide images. And are black and white and have the edges faded out. You need a image editing program for that, like Photoshop or maybe GIMP can do that.
They are edited images, meaning the original is not like that. But its easy to do, open it in the software, turn to black and white and turn down the opacity. Then fade out left and right side if needed.

Hi, just a quick question. Is it possible to place table shortcode into tabs?
Also can a google map be placed in a tab?
Basically i need to create tabs across the page. Each holding quite a lot of content: Bullet points, tables and Contact form is a must!!!

For google maps, it can produce issues in tabs, its a known issue that is not specific to Avada. I’ve seen it work with our map shortcode in most cases, but sometimes it does not. Its best to leave maps outside of tabs.

The tabs can be moved around if you wish but you have to move the text around in the shortcode in the order you wish to have them.
I’ve also not tried contact forms in tabs, but the free Contact Form 7 plugin works with Avada and has added design styles
I’m sad to say this but this theme is a HUGE disappointment!!
The theme looks awesome but calling it an out of a box solution feels like the overstatement of the century x(
My bad is also I didn’t check and realize it was a forced registry to scan the forums for eventual solutions.

It is an out of the box solution, you can setup the entire theme with demo content in under 2 minutes. Install theme, go to theme options and import demo content button, done.
Please elaborate and give examples, I’m certain you are misinformed or do not have the answer to your question.
Yes, its called a fight against piracy We have to have users verify their purchases to access and use our forums. That is completely common here with TF authors, they all do it. Its protection that Themeforest has given to authors by making a valid “purchase code” with each purchase.
All you need to do is signup with that code, it takes 5 seconds to do and uses your same Themeforest username.
It is for sure not an out of the box solution if you’re depending on import of demo data to set your site up.
If not importing data there’s to say the least a lot of tweaking to do to make use of the things you can do with it.
Still it’s an awesome looking theme. Would I call it an out of the box solution? Really really not!
Also there are lot of theme owners who give answers to simple support questions in the comment section!

Again, please explain? You can set up your own pages so easily. Make a new page, use our shortcode generator to insert the shortcodes you wish. How is that hard in the slightest?

Yes so do we, have you taken a look at the 6800+ comments on 341 pages of comments? That is the most of any theme here, and all you need to do is go back through the comments and see our replies to support questions. We certainly give support here.
Yes we prefer to support on our forum. do you know why? Because its so much easier, and 95% of the time all the user has to do is input a few search words to find the answer. Can you search these comments here on Themeforest … NO.
Why would you want to post a new comment or question that has already been answered several times on our forum? And why would you not look in our documentation, knowledge base or video tutorials? All of those places hold answers, just waiting for you to go and find them

Yep, you can do it globally in theme options on the “portfolio tab” or individually per blog and portfolio post in the post options box.

Great theme, been using it for a while now.
Question: I log into the Theme Fusion support portal, but when I go to read a Forum post, I’m asked to enter my purchase code, which I do, and then I get this response:
“Sorry, this key is already in the database. If you think this is a mistake, please contact us to resolve the issue.”
What am I doing wrong?
It should tell you the username its registered under in red type. If it says that then its already registered.
I checked your Themeforest username and the account is registered under Username: dwexler
You can use the forgot password link if you do not remember your password.

Can you tell me about the conflict with Wysija (now called Mail Poet) newsletter plugin?
Avada is listed as a conflicting theme on http://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/list-of-plugins-that-may-cause-conflict/
Wow thats a big list of themes and plugins that do not work with the Mail Poet plugin, that’s pretty rare. To be honest, we’ve never used it or had any users report it. I’ve seen our users use multiple newsletter plugins without issues, so I would recommend not using that one.
We can check into it as we get time and see what the issue is. The other possibility is they are using an older version of Avada.
Just a follow up, we’ve had many users tell us the plugin works fine with Avada. That link was made in January of 2012 so it has to be old information. We’ve emailed the plugin developers and asked them about it as well.
You may have already thought of this, but perhaps you should contact support at mailpoet.com to advise them that the above article in their knowledge base is out of date? It would help save other people like myself the confusion.

Add me to the list of users who do not see the most-awesome SHORTCODE Theme Fusion icon list below my ‘kitchen-sink’.
I have tried everything including re-installing the theme, clearing my cache, de-activating ALL plugins (I only got four and core fusion is one of them)....
So… what gives – the support item for this has been closed.
If you do not see the shotrcode icon, then you have not installed the fusion-core shortcode plugin.
You will get a notification message in your WP-Admin when you update telling you its a required plugin. If you do not see that message, then you can go to Appearance -> Install Plugins page accessible from wp-admin menu and install the plugin that way.
Any user who asked this on our forum either did not install the plugin, or did not clear cache or have the kitchen sink open.
Also, if you come upon a thread on our forum that has been resolved/closed, all you need to do is open up a new thread of your own
Thanks for the response. Let me be clear: I CAN SEE the THEME FUSION ICON and when I click, it POPS-UP in a modal window where I can select the function I need to work with and YES, Theme Fusion plug-in is activated and (hopefully) working properly.
That being said, the ICONS (plural) allowing me to click DO NOT SHOW UP as the rest of your documentation (videos, images) mentions throughout. This list of icons should show up RIGHT UNDERNEATH the “Kitchen Sink” but it does not.
I am running your latest theme version (using a Child Theme) – v.3.2.1
- Cleared Browser Cache
- Reinstalled Theme
- Opened Kitchen Sink
What else am I missing?
Oh … those icons are no longer there, they are all replaced and combined into our shortcode generator If you see all those icons in our docs, you are probably looking at the older ones. Always check our docs online, they are more up to date. See this, all those buttons are removed and there is now only one button, and it looks like this http://d.pr/i/q1U3
See our icon logo? Those are ALL the shortcodes combined.

No problem Yeah we are always adding new features and optimizations, so the docs can be out of date at times. But our online docs are the most up to date and we try to update them as much as possible.
Hi, I noticed that the parallax backgrounds in home version 16 don’t work in IE8. They just show a white background

It is not built in, but you can use any number of plugins for that feature
Anyway you could add a cookie or option to
so that it remembers if you’ve closed the style selector or not? it keeps popping out on default even when I closed it on the page prior and makes it hard to navigate clearly.
Yes it does popup by default, we have it like that because the majority of users never saw it when we had it closed by default and then would ask about it
I’ll discuss this again though and see if we can add a check to remember user choices.

Hi i am having problems with the portfolio filtering and pagination.
I would like to know if i could put a category to be selected by default instead of the “All” category. I have other categories like logos, posters etc. and i would like the 2nd category to be selected by default
to change the default category selected, you would need to modify the code to do that. The “All” is the default one. But you can easily change that by simply selecting the category you wish to show per page. If you need it automated, you would need to change the code on your end.
Could you email me a sample of the code i should change. I wouldnt know where to start.

You can put a full background image in the header section, and also in the main section, and also in the footer section. Each section is its own area and are not combined, so you can choose to use one, two or three.

You would need to change the CSS styles for that, you can use a browser tool like Firebug or Chrome dev tools to inspect it and see what it has, then change it to what you need. CSS knowledge will be needed.

I have an errand service and so what we have are a set of questions that our clients will answer and then pay us for our service. Would you suggest using the Shop feature or use a form builder such as Gravity form and incorporate it into the theme?
Most questions are Yes or No type questions and some require inputting an address. An important part allows the client to input the amount that they want us to spend on a transaction. The Shipping option should be available as well. Once that is done clients pay the total.
I would recommend using Gravity forms, it will be perfect for this. And we have added design integration for it so it looks beautiful

Maybe I do not fully understand, but the testimonial icons can be either male or female, you can select that in the shortcode itself. You can also change the speed of testimonials on the “extras” tab in theme options.
For titles, are you wanting to increase font size? You can do that in theme options > typography.

You would need to remove that from the code then, right now there is not an option to remove it, it has to be the male or female icon. In a future version we will give an option to use “none”
