Can I add in a WooCommerce compare products plugin with this theme?
Also…Is a sidebar categories FILTER option available with this theme via plugin?, if not do you plan on adding this option in the future?

Sure you can use a woo compare plugin. There is not a built in sidebar filter plugin, but you can get that feature from another plugin as well. WooCommerce does offer two built in filer widgets, see hre: http://d.pr/i/rYO3
Outside of that you will need to find a plugin if those do not suit your needs. I’ve not used one myself, but you should be able to find several with a google search: https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=woocommerce+product+filter+plugin&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
Hi there. I recently purchased this theme and the theme installation simply fails each time. The theme options page is broken. I have posted this problem in the support forum. I received an email stating that there have been a few others with this problem with the latest version and to change my permissions which really didn’t work since all my permissions were already correct. I have heard nothing back since and it’s been three days. Can this please be addressed. I can’t do anything with it in the meantime. Thank you.
Yes it certainly can! When this happens, its due to either permissions or all the theme files not being uploaded to your server, or a bad WP install. There is nothing in the theme that would cause this, it has to be one of those things.
For the forum, you received replies in a day or so, but another user has jumped in and hijacked the thread which causes delays. Each time a user replies in a thread, the time resets on it and it gets sent back to the beginning of the que, which takes longer. So that is why its taken long to get a reply. Unfortunaltey we have a hard time policing that and can only educate users to not do that.
But as you can see from the other users response, it was fixed by the process he stated. Most likely he had a bad WP install, or low memory. Once he changed that, it worked.
It has to be one of those items because it is not a theme related issue. I just posted in your thread and asked for FTP info and assigned it to our dev so he can double check for you.
I just updated to Wordpress 3.9 and boom, no shortcode menu link in page editor
i mean the fusion shortcodes doesn’t work anymore
i just tried to install a fresh 3.8, installing avada, its ok, but when going to wp 3.9 this shortcode menu disappears

Yep you need to update to the latest Avada. If something like this ever happens, the first place to check is our support forum or knowledge base, we always have things quicjkly posted for users. If using WP 3.9 …
1. Use Avada v3.4.3, download it from your Themeforest account.
2. Install the theme update and also update the fusion-core plugin to v1.3.3, you will be prompted to update the plugin also.
3. Once the theme and plugin are updated, clear your browser cache and you should see the icon in visual editor.
If it still does not show after the theme and plugin update, then you most likely have a 3rd party plugin that is causing it. Disable the extra plugins and clear cache to see that it works. You can then contact the plugin author and tell them they need to update their plugin to be compatible with WP 3.9.

What do you mean by mobile site? Mobile (responsiveness) is suppose to be like that, it “responds” to the size of the screen and adapts to make the elements fit. That is what is expected and definitely professional, its standard responsiveness.
If you do not want that, and want the fixed desktop version on mobile, then you need to turn off responsiveness in theme options > general tab.

We do not include woocommerce with the theme, it is a standalone plugin you install on your own. If you do use it, then yes our design styles will take over and it will display as our site does. That cannot be removed unless you manually remove all the custom CSS for it, that is a lot of work.
From that message above, you are not using the latest Avada version. That will no longer happen if you update to Avada v3.4.3

Yes you can use the layer or revolution slider for that.
How to do that, ie. how to make the video occupying 2/3 of the slider?
When using the layer or rev slider, each element you insert can be a certain size. Insert an image that is only the size you need. Or when inserting a video, make sure to set the size of the video so it only takes up 2/3.

Yes it most certainly does. Portfolio pages tend to have more images, larger images too and it depends on how many are displayed, etc.
I added new style (font property) to the revolution slider, all I did was copy an existing style and modify the size. Now I keep getting “Ajax Error!!! ParserError”

Hmmm something had to happen on accident. Have you tried to revert to the old file? Download the theme again, and go to this location: http://d.pr/i/hwiT Copy those files and paste them into the wp-contents > plugins > rev slider > rs-plugin > css location.
If that does not help, I would delete the plugin and reinstall it. But first make sure you export your sliders.

Did you remove the plugin (delete it) then reinstall it? I would do that, but first backup your sliders if you have any so you can reimport later.
Also, try it with the default WP theme. it you get the same error then its definitely a plugin issue of some kind.

Yes it can be smaller, there is a theme option to control the width of the sticky header logo. On our live demo, it is the same size as the regular header because we have a small logo to begin with.
Ever since I bought this theme I have been struggling to resolve multiple plugin conflicts instead of enjoying the process of customization (which is always a pleasant job if everything works fine). There’s a conflict with WP UI plugin, the shortcodes are not working unless I disable WP optimize, I’m really afraid to take further steps.
Plugin conflicts can happen, it is not necessarily theme specific. That plugin you mentioned is for tabs, accordions and sliders which heavily use jQuery, so most likely it is conflicting with the ones we have built in, or it could be conflicting with the other premium sliders that use jQuery, Layer Slider or Revolution Slider. You can disable the premium sliders and see if that is it. If not, I would highly suggest contacting the plugin author to see what they say. We always try to resolve plugin conflicts if they are from the theme, it just depends on what it is.
I’m terribly sorry, it wasn’t Theme’s problem with WP UI, it was just some other plugin. Sorry for being rude.

While I like the template, its loading speed and its possibilities I feel a bit cheated as the advertised documentation is related to older versions, videos are, especially for beginners, confusing, as they also refer to previous versions and therefore display information that cant be found in the latest version.
1) I miss the option to create, save and edit (using the ShortCode generator) snippets for re-use in other templates / posts – any hints how to do so?
2) How can I add a section / container on a page which can be shown/hidden (or: collapse/expand)
3) How can I adjust the client slider height and make it scrolling without the arrows?
4) How can I create a content slider with the arrows (< >) next to each other instead of left and right side of that content container?
Thanks for the comments, let me help answer some of this.
In regards to old docs … there are some videos that are a bit dated, but that is it. No other documentaiton is out of date at all. Unfortunately videos get dated quickly as features and plugins change rapidly. Our most dated ones are due to the 3rd party plugin sliders which constantly change and get updated. However, the overall process for using them is the same. All other docs are up to date and stay up to date.
As for the “level” of information, Documentation is to get you started and go over how to use the theme, it does not contain information on things you can do outside of our options. Anything outside of our options is considered a code customization and each case can vary depending on the setup, docs on that topic simply cant be done. I wish it could, but it cannot due to all the variables each user might have setup, code has to be exact, one slight variation in what a user might need will make the custom docs useless.
You can obviously do so much with a WP theme, and a lot of it is very deep and involves custom work. That is not something we can detail in docs. Custom work can be done, and you can change just about anything you need to, but anything outside of our theme or page options is a customization that requires code knowledge.

1. There is not a built in way to do this, that is a very cool feature but not common. However, please post in our feature request thread, we always add the most requested features.
And when we add our page builder soon, you will be able to save page templates and load them again.
2. Do you mean accordions? That is a shortcode, select it from the shortcode list and enter your content.
3. This can be done but is a customization that requires editing code (php, css and js). We are going to add more options for the carousel sliders that make life easier, but that is for like autoplay and height. Making it scroll without arrows requires heavy changes.
4. Again this can be done but is a code customization. Avada has the most built in options of any other theme we’ve ever seen. We try to add as many as we can that are requested by users. Doing that, allows users who do not know how to code to easily customize the site. However we can not put every option in there and there are certain levels that go beyond that, and there are also only so many options we can add before it gets very confusing.
i like that the new theme has custom menu per page, however you should added custom header per page also.

I am able to see the Fusion Shortcode icon, but when I press it, a blank box opens up.
I have Fusion Core ver 1.3.3 ; Avada ver 3.4.3. I have tried deleting the .htaccess file, and also de-activating all other plugins but still no luck. I also haven’t renamed the wp-content folder. Please help. Thanks.
That has to be a 3rd party plugin conflict then with WP 3.9. Most likely one of your plugins is not updated for WP 3.9, disable them to find out which is it and then contact the plugin author to see if they know about it.
As mentioned in the original question, I have already disabled all other plugins & it still doesn’t work.
Yes I did read that, in other cases though users did not clear cache after disabling so I wanted to mention that. And since the icon shows, but opens a blank box, that has always been a 3rd party plugin issue up to this point.
The only thing we can do is look for you, but we cannot do that here, only on the forum where we can get your private login info. Have you started a thread there? Please do and give WP and FTP details and we will see what is going on.
