Would a single license allow me to use the theme on a staging site so that I can work out the design before I update my client’s site? We want to match an existing design and I can’t be working that out on the live site. So, it’s the same site…but at least temporarily it will be on 2 WP installs.
Yes it would, you can use one license and use it for testing or staging, then transfer it to a live domain when done.
You are welcome
I am looking for a Wordpress Theme that has unlimited portfolios and parallax design. What I really need, though, is to be able to use multiple header menus. I need 4 different home pages built in to 1 site. So, users would hit the initial home page, then they would choose 3 different “locations” which would all have different menus. I need this to be 1 Wordpress Install so the locations can share some of the portfolio content, etc… Does this theme have that capability? Could it be edited to have that capability easily?
Hmmm, you can have as many pages as you need, and each page can have its own custom menu assigned. The header design will need to be the same on all pages though, right now we do not have an option to use different header designs per page. But you can assign a different menu per page.
Yes it can be one WP install, that is not a a problem.
@rajeebxp01 – Use the columns shortcodes. Just the 1/3 one will work nicely for you.
Does anybody know if you can use an offset on the blog shortcode?
Thanks for the help!
Hmmm there is not an offset option built into the blog shortcode. What exactly are you needing to do?
Is there an actual light/dark skin and preset colour schemes available as shown in the demo or do I need to to manually change the CSS for all?
Yes there most certainly is, go to theme options > styling and you will see it. You can choose light or dark, then choose any of our predefined color schemes. Or build your own with all the custom color options there, no css is required.
why wont wordpress let me upload it to make it my theme? :[
What does it tell you? Is it this: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this/

is there a .xml file i can download?
There are XML files inside the avada > framework > plugins > importer > data folder, but we have a built in demo content importer via theme options. And its even better than XML files because its imports everything, not just pages and posts. It gives you pages, posts, sliders, widgets, sidebars, theme options and more.
If you want the rev sliders and woo products, make sure to have both of those plugins active when importing.
Check it out! And here is the info from our docs, http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/import-xml-file/
What is a code for Open a page or external URL in fancybox?
can anyone help?
We do not use fancybox in Avada, sorry!

Very sad to know product slider dont auto adjust images itself and the developer wants to upload only 500×500 size images no matter if its been cut .
even support department replies after 24 hours and my ticket is still open from 12 days and they are unable to provide a solution for it.
The woo featured slider is a custom slider we made, and it is made for large images. That is not from WooCommerce, it is a custom slider. No the sizes cannot be easily adjusted, that will require a customization. The ideal size is 500×500, but even smaller imafges can fit.
You are using a 100% width template, so if you only use a few images, they will not go the full width. You must use more images for that.
Also, you are adding padding to left and right side via theme options, so that is most likely the issue.
As for your comment on the forum, that definitely seems unfair. First off reply times can take up to 24 hours Mon-Fri, and longer on weekends. No, we do not wait until 24 hours, matter of fact the apst few days reply times have been in single digits, meaning you will get a reply in less than 10 hours.
I looked up your thread, and it has taken so long because one or two times you replied to it multiple times which is called “bumping”. Our support team answers threads from oldest to newest and each new response resets the time back to 0. When you give a reply, please make sure to wait for our reply. If you send in another before we do, time resets and the thread goes back to the beginning of the que and will take longer.
Also, I replied in your thread. The only issue I see is that you are adding left and right padding to the 100% width template, that is why the images do not go edge to edge.
Your images are fine, and they go edge to edge: http://d.pr/i/2xuJ
See my reply, and follow up there please.
and the developer wants to upload only 500×500 size images no matter if its been cut
Also that above is not true, I want to make sure yi understand how it works. you can upload any size images you wish and the slider adjusts. The issue you are having is that you did not upload enough images to span the entire width of the browser window.
The slider auto adjusts for images, but what you were wanting would mean it stretches the image width to fit the area, that is not possible nor should be done as it distorts the image.
When using the 100% width template, your content like the woo featured slider will go 100% width of browser window. If you only add 3 or 4 images, there will be gaps between them, you have to add more images to fit the width you are using.
Hello Thanks for you help,, I did it. But facing error message when I try to play video. Please guide me.

I updated to Wordpress 3.9.1 and the shortcode generator is gone
If using WP 3.9 or higher …
1. Use Avada v3.4.3, download it from your Themeforest account.
2. Install the theme update and also update the fusion-core plugin to v1.3.3, you will be prompted to update the plugin also.
3. Once the theme and plugin are updated, clear your browser cache and you should see the icon in visual editor.
If it still does not show after the theme and plugin update, then you most likely have a 3rd party plugin that is causing it. Disable the extra plugins and clear cache to see that it works. You can then contact the plugin author and tell them they need to update their plugin to be compatible with WP 3.9.
If you have further questions or need assistance with that, signup and post on our support forum and our support team will take good care of you. Create a free account there, then create a new topic with your questions and include your site URL and version of Avada and we will be with you promptly.
OK I tired to update the theme and simply crashed the site. I tried installing the theme all over and it is asking if I am sure that I want to do that – but then is not installing the theme. I tried to install the theme via FTP to overright the files but my entire site went blank.
I really need to update the theme because I don’t have the shortcodes – and I need those – yet I have a ton of custumization.
The “are you sure you want to do this” message is a common message that means your server does not allow a file that large, so you need to ask hosts to increase that limit or upload it via FTP.
If you do not have the shortcodes, that means you have not installed and activate fusion core plugin. See this: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/my-shortcodes-are-no-longer-working/
If you still have issues, as stated above please post on our forum so we can assist you. The thread form allows you to add private login info so we can take care of this for you, no worries

Your purchase code doesn’t appear to be valid.
I insert the Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme purchase code and this happened.
Yes that is correct. When you buy a theme that includes premium sliders like layer or revolution, it does not include an individual purchase code for those sliders.
The plugin updates have to come with the theme update. So each time we issue a theme update, we include the latest plugins as well.
The only way to use that feature you are describing for auto updates, is to purchase the plugins by themselves, which will then include an individual purchase code for them.
The purchase code you get with Avada or any other theme purchase, is only for that theme.
Hello, sorry for my English.
I would like to ask whether it is possible to leave the unit (block) “Our Happy Clients” (image with logos) automatically scroll.
I am considering buying this template.
Thanks for the answer.
Right now there is not an option for the client sldier to autoscroll, but we are going to be adding that sometime in the future. It can be done, but will require some code edits to allow that.
Hey there, I’m having trouble customizing my Avada because there’s a stylesheet embedded inside the <header> of every page! Not even !important will overrides that.
I think that stylesheet comes from Appearance > Theme Options which is supposed to make things easier I suppose, but all it’s doing is giving me a headache. I know I could just use Theme Options > Custom CSS for the ultimate override of styles, but I would really just love to work on a stylesheet.css via Dreamweaver or something. Is there any way to completely disable CSS from appearing in the <header>?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for the great support!
Yes that is coming from the theme options, but it can be overridden in the css field as you mentioned, and should be able to with the method you are trying to use.
One thing to note is in our next update we are removing the !important tags, that will come in v3.5 in a few weeks.
But you can already use style.css with the theme and add your custom CSS there, that will work for sure.
I’ve been using the style.css that’s in my child theme I created. It doesn’t seem to be overriding anything and I have to default to Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS
Any way to get the child theme style.css to take priority?
We would need to see your setup, something must be amiss. Signup and post on the forum with the details for our support team.
I am looking into a theme as a wedding photographer. Do you have any sites that has been built with your theme? please advise
Here are few examples on my end
Hmmm I know I’ve seen many photographers sites but Im not sure we saved any. You can view some sample sites here: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-showcase-sites/
Hi, we’re using Avada theme for our site tutum.nl, but the slider images of Revolution slider are totally stretched out in IE11. Is there a way to fix this? Already found out it could have to do with updating the theme, but we’ve tried that in our testsite… no luck.
OK, just updated the slider plugin, looks better now!
Yep that will do it, thanks for the follow up!
Is there anyway of deleting or uninstalling demo content and reverting back in to simple Hello world page ?
You can delete demo content and all content by using WP reset plugin, it will clear it all out for you. That is the best way imo, if not then you need to setup a clean install of WP. http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/
Flexible? Maybe. Easy and simple to use? Definitely not.
There is way too much “shortcode” required to achieve the layouts that you desire. Once I apply the shortcode there is no intuitive way to go back a modify the properties. I end up having to skim through all of the code and guess about what the proper syntax will need to be to make the changes that I want. I was trying to avoid that whole process in the first place.
Also, the installation process was also very clunky. It actually brought my page down for a while and I had to manually ftp files to get it working again.
Bottom line, I spent $55 so that I could quickly develop a great looking site and this theme does not help me to do that after all.
The pages are built using shortcodes from our generator, if you need to modify them, simply do it on the page. All the params are listed in our docs and forum.
However, we are adding a custom page builder also, which will eliminate the need to edit it on the page after generation. But as it stands now, most of our suers prefer the method that is already in place, because its much faster. But everyone is entitled to thier own opinion.
As for installation, that is not the themes fault at all. Sounds like it did not upload properly to your server via WP, not a theme issue, a server issue.
Yes you can quickly install Avada, and import demo date in less than 5 minutes and have a very fast setup. The demo content importer ensures that.
Thanks for your opinion though
I have purchased a lot of themes in my time and this is by far the best. It’s clean and simple to edit, highly adaptable to your own requirements (I’ve used it on several sites without any of them looking like the other!) the cms is clean and simple too, so many options to make changes on colors, fonts etc. I cannot recommend this theme enough for everyone from WP beginner to those more experienced.
Thank you so much for some great work. You have a fan for life here.
Thanks you for the comments! We appreciate the kind words and feedback. I think you will be super happy with our next update v3.5, it is the most significant update yet, and shortly after that will be our custom page builder addition.
