A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

Azoom | Multi-Purpose Theme with Animation Builder version 3.0+ must be updated via FTP. There are a lot of major changes in this version. Follow these steps below to update your theme ;

How To Update WordPress Theme via FTP?

1. Connect to your FTP
2. Go to “wp-content/themes/azoomtheme/”
3. Delete the “azoomtheme/” directory and all of it’s content
4. Download the new version from Themeforest. If you don’t know how to download theme from ThemeForest check this out : Download Theme from ThemeForest
5. Unzip the installable zip file
6. Upload the “azoom/” directory to “wp-content/themes/”
7. Make sure you do not duplicate directories
   • WRONG : wp-content/themes/azoom/azoom/ THEME FILES
   • CORRECT : wp-content/themes/azoom/ THEME FILES
8. Now login to your WordPress Admin Dashboard and go to “Themes”
9. Select “Azoom” and activate it
10. It will bring a notification to install new plugins. Follow those notification steps.
11. Now you have the latest version

WordPress Themes in Themeforest, can be downloaded easily. All you should do is to go to your Downloads tab. There you should see all of the items ready for download.

3 Steps To Download a WordPress Theme from ThemeForest

When you purchased an item from ThemeForest, it will be downloaded automatically. But after you download it, you may think it’s gone. Well, the answer is no! Your purchased items stay at your Downloads tab. Let’s say you have purchased WordPress Theme Azoom. You can download it easily like this ;

1 – Login to ThemeForest

ThemeForest is a Web Themes and Templates site of Envato Market. When you visit any of the Envato Market website (i.e. ThemeForest), you will see Sign In button at the top right. You can use that button to login to ThemeForest!

2 – Go to Downloads Tab

When you are logged into ThemeForest, you will have your main dashboard screen. In this screen, you will see tabs underneath your username. These tabs should have one tab titled as “Downloads”.

3 – Click On Download

Downloads tab, should contain all the items you have purchased. Since we are using WordPress Theme Azoom for this example, find the Azoom Theme.

At the right side of the Azoom Theme row, you should see a green button (for now it’s green) named as Download. When you click on it, you should see some choices. To keep this simple, click on Installable WordPress File Only

When you clicked on that, it shall start downloading your file!
