Hi is there any way to disable job posting in this theme. I am trying to create a new job portal like parents can hire private tutors – so they will need to register to the site and show the available instructors. They can message the tutor person and as well as the tutor person can reply back to them. Also adding a 1-5 stars review on the tutors profile when they get hired. Please let me know thanks
Thanks for your quick reply Dan. Do you have a demo admin page for me to check please?
Unfortunately, I don’t have admin access. But you can contact me via contact form on profile page http://themeforest.net/user/dan_fisher#contact and I’ll send you screenshots
Hi Dan whats the best free subscription plugin that you can suggest to use to fit in this theme.
Please try ‘MailChimp for WordPress’ plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ You will need to adjust it a little bit by changing a few classes.
Anyway if you will have any question please create a new ticket on our support site http://danfisher.ticksy.com
1. how about membership plugin?
2. is this compatible with revolutionary slider?
3. How can I make the site fullwidth?
1. There is no limitation. You can try any of existing.
2. You need to adjust the theme if you want to use Revolution Slider.
3. Theme Options > Styling > Layout Mode > Fullwidth

Dan instead of showing the Recent Job post on the site. What’s the shortcode for sitters list?
And how can I make the main nav bar fullwidth?

Hi, is there an option for full width ? but not how the template is. i mean full container . thanks
Glad you got it sorted
Where it reads “Recent Jobs” on the homepage, I assume that is a short code? Can we use that short code for the entire job list. We don’t want the job list to look like the Jobs List page – that’s ugly. We need it in blocks and to look cute and peppy.
We’re using the WP Job Manager plugin now, but each job is on a line and it looks so dead and boring. The images are small and hard to see -it’s all just blah! But if the job list could be in blocks like the Recent Jobs on the homepage of this theme that would get us to buy. Then we could remove everything else on the homepage and it would be perfect.
One more thing, this works with: “WP Job Manager – Contact Listing” plugin right?
I see that on the apply page you have the email address, we want to use Contact Form 7 for applying for jobs.
1. Agree with you. Cards looks better. Anyway, it can be customized via CSS and a little bit of PHP changing. I will add this into next update. Just give me a few days to release it
2. Yes, sure thing. You can use “WP Job Manager – Contact Listing” on the apply page.
If you’re going to make the changes for the next update I’m all in. I am going to make a child theme for it so I can change a few things, but I’m so excited I may have to get this tonight.
Oh another question. Can we charge a small monthly fee for a login? For both employers and job seekers.
We want more things to be free, but we want to paid profiles.
For paid profiles you need to use third-party plugins, such as Restrict Content Pro.
There are 3 boxes on the homepage under the slider. (Orange, Blue and Green)
When you add a link to where it reads ‘url’ the lettering and the icon go Orange. It doesn’t look great, but it’s also impossible to see on the first Orange square.
While logged out, go to youdomain.com/job-dashboard/ and click Sign in. It just refreshes the page. It doesn’t take you to the login page.
1) Icobox color issue will be fixed with next update v2.1.0 in 24-48 hours.
2) Go to Theme Options > WP Job Manager > Job Login Page and select your login page.
2. Sorry, clearly I didn’t save my changes (: Thank you.
On the page that lists a single job listing (the one that gives details and allows you to apply) there is a giant title on the left half of the page above photo. The job title appears in the details on the same page, it doesn’t need to be there twice and it looks silly.
1. How do I get rid of the Giant job title that is on the left side of the page under the menu?
2. Also, at the bottom of the same page is what looks like a google map, how do I get rid of that?
Which php file is it in, I’ll edit in and save it in to the child theme folder.
1. I will add option to hide Page Heading on Single Job and Single Resume page. Please wait for next update v2.1.0
2. babysitter2/job_manager/content-single-job_listing.php and on lines 30-60 you will find the code with the map.
Thank you so much. Will move to support site.
Is it possible to add custom fields to job and profile listings?. Things such as Smoker/Non-smoker, Hourly wage/pay, have own transportation (car) etc.
The easiest way to do this is to use WP Job Manager – Field Editor add-on https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-field-editor/
Would they fall in under resume, or would the job + company package be enough?.
If you want to add custom fields for babysitters you need to select Job + Company + Resumes
Hello, I recently bought the theme and wanted to personalize it for my needs but I am not able to find the psd. Could you please assist.
Unfortunately, there is no PSD for v2+ but if you want I can send you PSD files for v1+ It’s a little bit different but might be helpful.

How can I sidable sidebars on all pages? After the update all pages have sidebar s. I dont want sidebar on all my pages
Please let me know what was your previous version? Assume it was 1.x. Because if you updated to latest version 2.1.1 from 1.x you will need to make some work to adapt the theme.
Also please note that your support extension expired.
Hi, Yeah I used 1.x. Where can I find the stuff I need to do to make it work properly? I know support is expired, but hope you will help me with this
Will get new support next month I think
The problem is that Babysitter 2.x is basically the brand new theme and was made from the scratch. So there is no backward compatibility with the old one 1.x
There was notification about this issue but I thought everyone who wanted to update already update. Babysitter 2.x was released almost 1 year ago.
In your case I recommend you to read online documentation how to set up the theme https://danfisher.ticksy.com/articles/6305/
Anyway if you have any questions about the theme you should update your support extension.
Is there an easy way to change the font?
Please check Theme Options > Typography section.
