Hey, just wondering when the new update will come that works with the latest WPBakery 7.0. I tried updating it, but it broke my website (obv everything else was also updated, but the bakery didn’t work)

The theme will be updated, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.
Current version of the theme should work correctly with the latest version of WPBakery. If you are using PHP 8.1 please note that we haven’t tested the theme with this version yet. We recommend using the theme with PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4.

This can be adjusted in the “Mikado Header” options on the page by choosing the header layout you need (please see screenshot).

Unfortunately adding new features and header layouts to the theme is not covered by the support. Implementing this would require additional customization of the theme files, but this falls out of our support scope.

The Google api code is visible in the pages’ source code. This is bad as it should not be shared with anyone and can be used wrong.

Have you perhaps installed the theme on a site which was built with some different theme and has existing content? We usually recommend installing the theme and importing the demo on a clean installation.
Also, if you are using PHP 8.1+ please note that we haven’t tested the theme with this version yet. We recommend using the theme with PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4.

In the documentation it says you can translate the theme by editing the theme folder/languages/en_US.po file. This file doesn’t exist (anymore?) and the only file in the language folder is .pot. This file doens’t have majority of the strings I would like to translate.

If you cannot locate some label inside the theme please try adding translation for BackpackTraveler Core plugin or other bundled plugins and search for labels there.

The documentation doesn’t answer my questions. And the tickets that I wrote to your support are still not answered, more than a day has passed. The questions are simple, The fact that in any other topic is solved by default. For example, setting the sorting of the blog category in the block, or editing the header zone. There is no access to the widget settings, an error is displayed everywhere.

Note that when you place your ticket, it is listed among our tickets according to age. Then when you answer that same ticket again before we manage to give you an answer, we only see the time of your last reply, and that ticket is then found among the newest tickets.

This is usually due to the new block based widgets require more resources so please check this article about it here, also you can always try to Download and activate the Classic Widgets plugin in your site dashboard so that the plugin will disable all the blocks widgets function and bring back the old widgets option or remove all the widgets that you are using and add all the new blocks in the Theme.

This is usually due to the new block based widgets require more resources so please check this article about it here, also you can always try to Download and activate the Classic Widgets plugin in your site dashboard so that the plugin will disable all the blocks widgets function and bring back the old widgets option or remove all the widgets that you are using and add all the new blocks in the Theme.

I am contemplating getting this theme, and just want to clarify a few points.
1. In the Province theme for example; top bar/ribbon with ‘Home|Page|Travel etc’ can I add other such as: ‘Lifestyle’ ‘Home Decor’ etc as it will be a multi-topic blog. If so, I assume I can use any of the formats for it such as ‘List, Map, Categories, Slider, Singles’?
2. Map of Destinations option’s is very cool, I assume that we (the user) have to input that information ourselves but how does this feature connect to the blog post? Is this just an automatic function?
3. All the elements provided such as the different types of ‘Buttons’, ‘Tabs’ etc – I assume this is all very self explanatory (such as a drop down option) within the theme? Can you give me a screen grab of one example so I can have a look?

1. This is the Main menu where you can add new Menu items so this is for sure possible.
2. Within each Destination Item you can enter Address, Latitude and Longitude. Of course in order for the map functionality to be enabled you will need to input the Google Map API key in the General section of the BackpackTraveler Options
3. Please feel free to check our themes documentation here where you have our theme options explained in detail. Also here is a video as well.

I get a lot of error notifications when I go to the widgets of my website. All plug-ins are up to date, as well as the theme. Could you please help?
