hi, although I changed the background image in the title section, I don’t get front end feedback on the pages automatically generated by woocommerce, before it worked, in fact the photo it takes is originally uploaded by me. as usual I cleared both the site and browser cache, but there was no change.

URGENT: I just updated this theme and it overwrote all of my CSS files. The child theme has been active the entire time and I did not update that file—ONLY the parent theme. My fonts and colors are back to defaults. Please advise a fix so that styling will return. Thank you.
You indicated that the settings need to be saved, which I did, abut that didn’t help. The layout of the site is still misconfigured and the site no longer properly functions PLUS there’s a critical error now.

After you update theme and plugins you should navigate to Edge Options -> General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file with all of the options set there.

When updating theme we recommend following instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins and we recommend using FTP update method.
After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
Please try to restore the backup where the previous version is used and try updating by following instructions from the article.

I enabled DISPLAY ERRORS and it indicated the core plugin caused issues:

I’m using PHP 8. I had to roll back to a previous backup. I’m worried about trying to upgrade the theme at this point and it’s working well. However, currently, I am getting this error:

Theres an issue with the navigation menu on mobile disappearing when the user scrolls down. I don’t see that it was fixed in the latest update. Otherwise great product.

This is the default “sticky on scroll up” behavior for mobile and it is also how mobile behaves on our demo. Unfortunately this behavior cannot be changed through theme options. If you want to adjust behavior of mobile header you would need to edit theme files.

We are having some issues with the wordpress and theme itself. I´m seeing that the edge core plugin is installed in site with the 1.2 version. Re-downloading the theme, I can see that now the plugin is at the 1.4 version.
The client is willing to renew the theme support, If we do so, could you please take a look at the wordpress, and see what´s happening that we cannot manage to use the theme properly? Thanks in advance, looking forward to your reply

The portfolio option to display/hide the categories on the item’s page is not working. It’s a template issue : the condition and option name used are wrong.
It should be :if(baker_edge_options()->getOptionValue('portfolio_single_enable_categories') === 'yes')
Instead of :
if(baker_edge_options()->getOptionValue('portfolio_single_hide_categories') !== 'yes').
Moreover, wpbakery and revolutionslider are outdated.
Could you please fix these issues on a next release ?

The last update was almost 2 years ago. This template is completely out of date and it is becoming too strenuous to manually fix the issues related to upgrading Wordpress components. Using this old template and matching components is a security issue. I wish you would have been forthright about not releasing updates. I’m dumping this useless template for one made by a company that can fulfill their promises.

The latest update is from 2021? Some theme items are outdated. When is the next update? I am getting this message: Your theme (Baker Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this: Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. The plugins that you got after the purchase, like WPBakery page builder and Slider Revolution, are called bundled and we, as theme authors, have purchased an extended license for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon. Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.
