Hello . I am in Brazil and I can not set the forms. Tested on two different servers ( with support for PHP) , the message SUCCESS appears but do not receive the email with the message. (sorry for my English).
forms are definitely working (this forum will be full of angry customers if the won’t). Hard to tell what is the issue in your case. Check your spam folder if they haven’t ended there. Or contact your host provider to learn what are the correct settings if you want to use Mail PHP function.
Response from the hosting server :
So that the message is not blocked need to put in from the Return path and a valid e mail from your domain.
Today, all Linux servers Locaweb use Postfix, and if you do not specify the From time to send the message, he forges the email@example.com from ( the host would be the server name where your site is hosted ) and this on our servers is bloqueado.Ou be , your message will not be sent .
So you need to make sure your ajax/contact-form.php and ajax/reservation-form.php are up to those requirements. If I understand correctly, open contact-form.php, go to line 136 and change this:
'From: ' . $field_email . "\r\n" .
'From: firstname.lastname@example.org' . "\r\n" .
This “email@example.com” must be some real email which exists on your domain where you are using this form. You will have to do the same for reservation-form.php as well.
Found that the reservation is really buggy on a mobile device. The size of the form is too big, after inputting the name or email address. The form would not be accessible anymore. I was testing it on the my iphone, not sure if you can do some test on a mobile device. The design is very good, however it seems to be slow responding on mobile devices.
I am checking it on iPod 5g which is basically the same as iPhone 5 and you are right. It works fine in Chrome but not in Safari. I will release a fix in the following days.
Saw that you fix the form, what file were actually change? I need to know so I can do a diff, and not replace all the files.
Hello! I love this template. It looks and works perfectly.
I’m using it for a static website, so I’ll manage the submission via a third party app that works with any form ( http://formspree.io/ ). I would like to keep validation features of the template, like validating required fields. But there’s something that doesn’t let me submit the form. There is like a last step that validates something else than required fields.
Where can I find that last step and remove it so I can submit the form to formspree?
please share your URL where I can see the issue, hard to help without seeing it live.
The project is still on development. You can see it at: http://ambrosiaestetica.netlify.com/
What it ended up doing was going to library.js and modified the lvAjaxForm function a little bit. I decided to use ajax after all. I also added a couple lines to uncheck services when the reservation form is submitted.
Glad you’ve sorted it out!
Hello there, I am just wondering that if all images included? If I purchase this template, will my site look exactly like your demo? The blog section is a standalone or it’s integrated with Wordpress? Thanks
sorry but images are not included. Blog section is just bunch of static HTML pages.
to guayomena: which font you used in the logo?
font name is “Lovelo Black”
Thanks for the theme! I have built a beautiful website. Check out https://www.maniqure.my
May I know why you will release new version with more SEO optimized? Tq.
what kind of SEO optimization do you need?
CSS file provided is minified, and for some reason appears to be entirely commented out in Sublime Text 3. Is it possible to get a proper CSS file? This is not really acceptable…
I will leave a review reflecting this if I do not receive it soon, since I was planning on using this theme for a time critical project and I’ll probably have to look for a different theme.
the theme is built with SASS. The uncompressed code can be found in library/style.scss file. After making your changes, you can either use software like Scout App or online SASS to CSS converter to convert SCSS to CSS and then copy the code into library/style.css. Or you can just convert from SASS to CSS and keep working with uncompressed CSS and forget about SASS.
BTW, any CSS modification should be done via library/custom.css file, in case there will be an update to the template’s CSS. But if you still want to modify the style.css, then it’s up to you of course.
So to sum it up, there is a reason why style.css file is compressed (to reduce file size), but uncompressed version is available as well, under library/style.scss. You just need to convert the SASS code into CSS.
Where can I download the demo content?
images seen in demo are not part of the template (as noted in the item description), because they are copyrighted.
Can I ask for refund? I purchased version 2 of beautyspot and now I don’t need this one. Thank you!
Sure, but you need to do it via Help Center. You will find a refund form there.
Hello. For the date picker on the appointment page www.maniqure.my/make-appointment how to disable for the specific dates? Thanks!
