Thank you for your interest in our theme. The theme is a WordPress theme and supports all features of WordPress. The live streaming function is not provided by the theme. You’ll have to rely on third-party service to achieve that. You can embed the streaming code and use it with our theme. Please note that support for these plugins are outside of our support scope.

Purchased the theme. Where do you edit the field for the “Charity Store” so it no longer says ‘Charity’? This is the WooCommerce promotion at the bottom of every page. Charity has a legal meaning, I need to remove this word.
Also as a note, the child theme doesn’t recognize the main theme. This is on a fresh install of Wordpress btw.

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. We just released v1.4.16 where we’ve added an option to change the “Charity Store” text. Please update the theme to v1.4.16 and then navigate to Bethlehem > Footer > Stores Carousel Section title.
You can update the theme can be updated in 3 ways:
1. Automatically: You can use the Envato Market plugin to update the Theme automatically. Instructions here: https://ibndawood.com/how-to-update-a-themeforest-wordpress-theme-or-a-codecanyon-wordpress-plugin/
2. Semi-Automatically: Sometimes, (1) does not work. You should download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. WP will backup the old Theme and install the new one.
3. Manually: You should download the latest installable WP theme from your ThemeForest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.
Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes. Also, we strongly advise that you backup your website and database before updating. It allows you to roll back the update if anything goes wrong after update.
Regarding the child theme issue please email our support with your WP admin details, we’ll look into it.

Thank you for the reply. However as I mentioned in my post, your child theme files does not recognize the parent theme. I had to build my entire site in the parent theme for this reason.
I have spent the past 2 days making changes to the settings of the theme and my site finally looks the way I want it. So, how do I change the Charity store text?

Can you please clarify if you had made the changes to PHP files?
I did not rename any folders, I uploaded them both via FTP at the same time.
I did not make changes to php files, only to the settings in WP admin and the dummy data page templates. I also customized the slider slides.

Thank you for getting back. I believe you’ve incorrectly uploaded the folders causing the not theme not recognized issue.
Please note the folder structure should be like this:
wp-content/themes/bethlehem/style.css
wp-content/themes/bethlehem-child/style.cssCan you please check and let me know if the folder structure is the same like here? Also if you can please email our support with your WP admin details, I’ll check it for you.

We purchased this theme a few years ago and just updated it to the most recent version. Unfortunately the WP Bakery Page Builder plugin (formerly Visual Composer) didn’t update. I thought it was included in the purchase? Could you please let us know how to update it as well?

Hi, I really like this theme, but I’m having problems with Bethlehem Extensions after the last update. When Events Calendar functionality is applied to a page, the content of the other extensions is not shown. I’m using a design similar to V2. Can you help?

Hello. On 1.4.12. We are missing the Bethlehem Page Attributes Meta Boxes. Stripped out all non-Bethlehem plugins and switched back to Parent theme issue remains. This is throwing fatal errors on the site. Rolled back to 1.4.11 and Meta Boxes returned.

This is a common issue. CSS stylesheet missing error happens when you are trying to upload the theme package instead of the theme file. You need to unzip the theme package and you will find bethlehem.zip inside theme-files folder. You can read about it more here : https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510

The latest theme file from today causes a fatal error when updated:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_the_value() on null in /home/customer/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/bethlehem/inc/structure/page.php:73
Will you be updating the theme to fix this issue ASAP? We have rolled back to the previous version until this is resolved.

We test our themes on release candidates only. 5.7 Release candidate is available from Feb 23 after which we will test and update compatibility.

Thank you for updating the theme and for reaching us. Please make sure to update Slider Revolution, Bethlehem Extensions as well as WP Bakery Page Builder.
To update WP Bakery Page Builder ( previously Visual Composer ), you’ll have to make sure you have the latest version of the theme. Once you’ve updated the theme, please de-activate and delete WP Bakery Page Builder from “Plugins” page in admin panel and install the latest version from Appearance > Install Plugins.
