the current bundled version of WPBakery which comes with the theme is version 7.0 and it should work with PHP 8 just fine. You will find it in the full package / Plugins folder – js_composer.zip. I will update the package with version 7.2 soon. If the version 7.0 won’t be enough, then let me know and I will try to update it asap.

Okay, I have WPB 7.0 installed, which stopped the conflict between it and PHP 8.0. The issue that I am having is, our site was built on v1.5 of the theme, which does not seem to be compatible with PHP 8.0. I can get the site to load after upgrading the theme to the latest 2.x version but it entirely breaks the formatting of the site. Should I be able to used PHP 8.0 with the 1.5 version of the theme? Or is my only option here to tell my client that he has to pay to have his website redeveloped?

You can update up to 1.6.2, you will find that version in the full package / Legacy, however I haven’t tested it with PHP8, so I can’t guarantee it will help, but it is worth a try. If not then I am afraid you will have to update the theme to the latest version, which indeed means redeveloping parts of it. But even if the 1.6.2 helps, it is only matter of time when either WP or PHP comes with an update which breaks it, so I highly recommend to update to the latest version anyway.

unfortunately there is no really an easy way how to update to the latest version from 1.x, since the 2.x is is not compatible with 1.x. I would suggest to install the latest version on a staging environment and start exporting your current content there and just go live with it once it will be ready. I see that you are using mainly just regular pages and posts on your site so exporting those should work fine. Just make sure to read through the documentation as many things are now done differently compared to 1.x: http://docs.lsvr.sk/bluecollar.wp/#introduction

However, the proper way to handle this is to do it on a staging site, and update your live site only after it is ready.

Please check if you don’t already have a standard page or post with slug “portfolio” or maybe some 3rd party portfolio plugin. Alternatively, use a different slug for portfolio archive page, for example “projects”.

Upon checking source code of your site I am now certain this is caused by some 3rd party portfolio plugin which uses the “portfolio” slug for its own archive page. Either disable the 3rd party plugin, or rename the slug to something else then “portfolio”.

when you check the Screenshot tab on the test site you will see it was tested without any styles. When you try to test demo URL (https://preview.lsvr.sk/bluecollar/portfolio/) you will see it passes the test with Screenshot tab showing site correctly. So problem is somewhere on your site, but I have no idea what is causing it unfortunately.
