Thank you for your interest in our theme. You can update the theme can be updated in 3 ways:
1. Automatically: You can use the Envato Market plugin to update the Theme automatically. Instructions here: https://ibndawood.com/how-to-update-a-themeforest-wordpress-theme-or-a-codecanyon-wordpress-plugin/
2. Semi-Automatically: Sometimes, (1) does not work. You should download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. WP will backup the old Theme and install the new one.
3. Manually: You should download the latest installable WP theme from your ThemeForest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.
Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes. Also, we strongly advise that you backup your website and database before updating. It allows you to roll back the update if anything goes wrong after update.

Hello, I am unable to update Bookworm Gutenberg Blocks from 1.1.9 to 1.2.2. It says it has done the update but not really. There ise a fatal error when trying to edit pages and I think it is because of this.

I would like to know if it is possible to configure a button + link to buy the book on Amazon, Wallmart, etc. It’s not WooCommerce, it’s just an external link to the book published on the different print-on-demand platforms.
It is also important to know if you have multiple languages, as we need to manage a catalog of multilingual books that are sold on multiple online platforms from many different countries.

As regards mult language support, by default WordPress does not support multi-lingual websites. However there are plugins like WPML, Polylang, Weglots, etc that allows you to extend WordPress to create multi-lingual websites. Please note that support for these plugins are outside of our support scope.

Search Bar is available in all the headers listed in our theme and you can find all the header templates in the mentioned path: wp-content/themes/bookworm/templates/header.
Copy the header template that you are using and place it into your child theme like this: wp-content/themes/bookworm-child/templates/header

Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

Hi, When i try to install demo data error 501 appears, WordPress says: (actually WordPress gives you 512mb of PHP memory (twice what the developer is asking), so a low memory limit is not the issue. They sat the theme developer should help on that!

Missing features in the Bookworm template, that must be included
1. Cannot Search by ISBN, Author, Publisher 2. Cannot sort the Subject/Category listing according to the Publication Date and also listings are not showing as new arrivals based on publication date

Books list are showing with random/ASC/DESC orders. I want to show the latest books on top like I have created an attribute of Publication Date and have the no option to sort the books according to the publication date.

There is no option to select sort order by attributes
How we can set default attribute as a default attribute of “Publication Date” for that we can only sort the new arrival books on the top of the list. Otherwise your theme is useless.

How we can make/add the SKU/ISBN searchable?

The search feature used in our theme is WooCommerce’s default search which is built on WordPress’s default search. WordPress’ search is very basic and it searches only product titles and description. It does not search through attributes or SKU. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins for advanced product search. My favourite search plugin for WooCommerce is Advanced Woo Search ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-woo-search/ ) . It returns relevant and faster search results than any other plugin I’ve used.
