A theme which has been around for a long time, but works weill and has a bunch of extra's. Still getting updates too which is great to see.

I need to be very clear in this review.

The theme advertises that it is simple, however I have owned it for 5 years and per every update, there are always compatibility issues and it will affect the website severely.

If you are a beginner it is highly unrecommended for you because these errors are not simple to understand or easy to navigate.

For myself, it has been a hassle. In the meantime I have had to learn my way through these issues and I am by far no expert in Wordpress. It will cost you in technical labor to have someone repair and tweak errors, bugs, and compatibility issues.

My main issue is that with every Wordpress update, it will destroy some part of your functionality until there is a later release. Currently to make this work, I will need to use an old Wordpress version which are always more vulnerable to attacks. Currently this theme is not compatible with the latest Woocommerce or Wordpress in October 2023.

This will be a problem for lots of people.
If you are solely interested in the theme, it is a great and beautiful build and will solve your aesthetic issues. But under the hood there are many issues that come with. It is really a hard decision to make. You may need to use a free Wordpress them and focus on blogging. Wordpress is made to build and design beautiful sites, and this theme is no doubt very attractive. I have owned it for 5 years now. But the issues plague me with headaches and today I have spent over 12 hours alone troubleshooting the issues without extra support. You will need to consider this greatly.

After years, gifs converted to mp4 files still don't play on mobile chrome browsers.

Keep getting fatal errors with this theme.

We absolutely love this theme and have been using it for 6+ Years. As of now it has many compatibility issues since the last update of Boombox and needs a serious update. (Many plugins like ESSB and Bakery packaged with the theme are either not compatible with the latest PHP or AMP and need the update as well. )

The theme is good but old with a lot of errors.
The support is not reactive; 7 days to get a first answer, very incomplete and not useful.

And now the support ticket is down and it's not possible to submit support tickets for this theme.

I bought this theme in 2016; I had issues back then, I had issues now.
Not a great theme and its all messy, all over the place, dated. Last updated was in 2022!
Don't recommend, get something else newer.

Are you guys aware that your clients can not submit a ticket to get some support? This is a beautiful theme. You have done a good job. On the other hand, we will invest time, energy and money in to this theme and I need you to tell me that you are still there and backing your theme up. I am ready to change my review but I need to hear from someone.

This theme is appreciated after prolonged use. Polished and currently possibly the best viral theme.

does not work. trying to activate plugins throws fatal error. also can not activate it. after generating token can not open the page where to insert it. Buggy and slow AF
