Great theme and it’s working well, however the top icons are a bit messed up in Internet Explorer 11.
Can you please provide a fix?
Thanks for the purchase!
Which icons are you talking about? Can you post a screenshot of the faulty icons and upload it in the support forum?
Ok will do!
hi there, what is the step for me to change the 1400×600 banner in the top?
Hi, thank you for the purchase!
The banner is displayed via css as a background image for the #parallax div.
Open css/main.css (or less/main.less) and search for the parallax div:
background: url('http://www.placehold.it/1400x600') center center no-repeat;
This is where you change the image URL to point to your desired image – that you’ve of course placed in the ‘images’ folder of the template:
background: url('../images/my-image-name.jpg') center center no-repeat;
Depending on the ratio of your image, you may need to adjust the heights of the #parallax and #hero divs to display properly.
Let me know if you get it working!
thanks for the support!
Great, thanks for the feedback
I just purchased Booom. Right out of the box, it looks great. Can’t wait to get this one up on the web! Thanks.
Woot! thanks for the purchase and the kind words – have fun making it yours!
Regarding to the testimonials section, it shows 5 of them properly as i edited, but the problem is that the dots below show just 2 of them. How can I make it to be 5 ?
Just above the actual slides, in the code, you have an ordered list with “carousel-indicators” class. That’s your dot navigation!
By default there are only 2, linking to item 0 and item 1. You need to add three more:
<li data-target="#carousel-example-generic" data-slide-to="0" class="active" />
<li data-target="#carousel-example-generic" data-slide-to="1" />
<li data-target="#carousel-example-generic" data-slide-to="2" />
... And 2 more!...
Hope it helps!
Appriciate for your help, Can’t wait to get this on my site ^^
One more problem, the pricing tables i’ve deleted little and maxi out. Solid bang ordered to the left automatically, how can I move it to the center?
If you have only one pricing table and it is 4 columns wide, you can offset it by 4 columns so it will sit in the center of the layout.
<div class="col-md-4 col-md-offset-4">

Great theme! Where is the file to edit what text appears when you submit the form?
thank you for the kind words!
As explained in the documentation attached to the file downloads, you can edit the error validation texts in /assets/contact.php and the success confirmation message in /js/custom.js in the contact form section.
Have fun customising the template!
Thanks. There is a slight error in the code. You have ” at the end of the sentence but not at the beginning. I removed the ” after sent!
‘ Message sent!” ‘
’ < d i v class=”alert alert-success”>Message sent!” < / d i v > ‘
Oops yep little typo there, thanks for pointing that out!
No worries. Thanks for your fast replies! Also in contact.php there is an extra dot at the end of ’ You don’t have anything to say?. ‘
Yeah i noticed that one a while ago, but never changed it because it doesn’t really affect the template’s functionality. I will change both now and upload an update!
Woohoo, update in the upload queue! Thanks for the purchase, the nice comments and the typo spotting
I could really use a full width section with a Google maps integration (and the scroll-to-zoom on the map disabled).
Any chance to see this in a future update?
To have the map full-width, make sure you place the map wrapper div outside the .container, and you set a width of 100% to that wrapper div in CSS.
To disable the zoom on scroll, add the following inside the map options:
Thanks for the pointers Simon!
I’ll give it a shot.
Thanks, good luck!
Great theme Simon.
I suggest in future that you don’t tie sections to an ID but solely use classes, makes it painful to replicate a section type in a page
Fair comment. Thanks for the feedback and the nice words!
Great theme, does anyone want to compare websites and use similar ideas? Seeming as you can’t PM on here, email me @ email@example.com
I’m happy to make a showcase list in the item description with people who want to share what they have done with the template.. Let me know if you are interested to show yours!
Yeah man, definitely. I’m currently creating the site with this template on local host, although when it’s live and running I’ll get back to you.
Cool. I have started a list on the item description – i will add yours there when you are ready!
Hi, dev, it’s not so perfect on iPhone 5, you can see a UI bug when expand the menu, can you tweak it?
Can you elaborate on the iPhone 5 UI bug? Do you have a screenshot to explain what is not working correctly?
Hi, like https://cloudup.com/cqEaOqzGPhr https://cloudup.com/cWwswdFfllc
This is fixed in the download version – i just didn’t have time to update the demo version. Thanks for pointing that out!
hi, do we need to purchases UI Kit Pro too or is this already included in the package? Tks
You don’t need to purchase the Flat UI Pro kit – all the files you need are included in the download.
Please note however that you cannot re-use the Flat UI Pro files for another project than the Booom! template.
Hey I just purchased the theme and when i tried to install it doesnt work, im really dissapointed, please help me with this.
I am sorry but this template is an HTML template and not a WordPress theme – it will not work with WordPress.
WordPress Themes are found in the WordPress category and usually cost around 40 to 60$ – you purchased this item from the Marketing – Landing page category, where files are HTML / CSS only..
That said, we are currently working on a WordPress adaptation of the Booom! template – we are still a couple of weeks away from releasing but, if you like the template, you should be able to purchase the WP version.
Please contact Envato support if you need a refund, i cannot do anything myself on that matter.
If you are still interested, the WordPress version of this template is available here: WordPress version (finally!) available here: http://themeforest.net/item/booom-wordpress-theme-with-the-flat-ui-pro-kit/12867041
Very nice template, very nice code and very nice support. I recommend it !
Thank you very much for your nice comment Stephane – ça fait toujours plaisir
Do you have license to sell the Startup framework for this use? Thought the license applies to only one use!
This is not built with the Startup Framework but with the Flat UI Pro Kit, which comes with a developer licence that complies with selling on ThemeForest.
I am not selling the kit per se though. Buying this template does not allow you to re-use Flat UI Pro on other projects, but you have access to the full kit with this template.
Can’t figure out the Ajax setup. I know my server is apache and I’ve modified only the applicable files, but the form never sends… Are there additional steps server-side?
Do you have a link to your site? All you need to do is setup the destination e-mail in config.php and the forms should start working.
Did you setup the twitter feed? It is known to conflict with js code if not set properly (or commented out).
I am getting this message from the Wordpress Upload theme tool:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
Tks ni advance for your help
The product you purchased is an HTML template, not a WordPress theme – in other words it will not work with WordPress.

Great theme! Just wondering, does the contact form work?
Yes the contact form works out of the box – you will need to install the files on a php-enabled server for it to work as it uses php code.
All you need to do to get it working is set up your e-mail address in the config.php file.
Thanks for the kind words!
Do I need Boostrap to edit this or can I modify it with Dreamweaver?
All the bootstrap files are included in the template, so you’re good to go and customise it at your will.
There is a specific CSS / LESS file where you can put all your customisations, so if you upgrade to a later version, your work is safe. All is explained in the documentation attached with the download files.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
First of all i would like to congratulate you on an excellent theme. Nice creative thinking. I purchased and downloaded. But the website is not rendering properly in IE8.
Thanks for the kind words. Would you mind creating a topic in the support forum and giving more details about what doesn’t display right on IE8?
Thanks in advance!
Great design Simon! But when is the WP version coming?
Working hard on it, it shouldn’t be much longer! Hopefully we can release it within 2-3 weeks from now!
Hi Simon, how does the newsletter signup work with this template? Can I use mail chimp to manage subscribers?
The Newsletter Signup is simply a form that collects e-mail address and sends it to the admin e-mail you put in the settings. You then have to manually include the signees into your mailing list.
The template doesn’t support mailchimp integration out of the box, but it something i could add in a future update.
FYI, you can easily add the mailchimp integration by following this tutorial – http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/can-i-host-my-own-sign-up-forms.
This will take the user to the mailchimp signup confirmation page on submit.
You just need to change the signup form ID so it doesn’t trigger the PHP script.
I am happy to help you hook the newsletter field with your mailchimp signup form if you purchase the template, if that’s too much code for you!
Thanks, Simon! I will take a look at the tutorial and let you know if I need any help.
PS: you need to remove the final ”.” on the link above, otherwise the URL takes you to a 404 error page. Can’t edit it anymore!
