Is this theme going to get the new Social Counter like in your Vivid theme?

Yeah, that’s on our to-do list, it will be available in the next update!

Sweet thanks!

I am thinking about buying this theme. I do have two questions.

1. is it possible to change the color of the post background?

2. I work with multiple authors, does the theme show the authors per post?

Hi there, that’s a yes to both of those questions, although the feature isn’t per se in the theme options to change the background color of the boxes, you could use this CSS to achieve the desired effect :)

.entry-container{ background-color: #FAFAFA; }

You could just enter that into the Custom CSS field that’s in Breeze’s Theme Options

Hi, anyway to add instagram in the share social icons for posts?

As far as I know, this isn’t possible. Have you seen this somewhere before?

Hi, is there any way i can create a page that only shows posts under a certain catagory?

Just drag the category on the menu, and wordpress will do the rest :)

Hello, I want to buy your theme, but I need one option: I need to use the cyrillic symbols? Is it possible?

There are over 500+ fonts available from the google fonts repository. There are fonts there that support cyrillic characters, you can find them here and then use them in the theme :)

Hello, has the theme the ability to add infinite sidebars? Thank you

No, it has designated sidebars for Pages/Posts/Home as well as a sticky sidebar area for all of those

Updated from the update notification from Theme Forrest and I am getting an error now: Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘blu_admin_scripts’ not found or invalid function name in /home/wwwfreedom/ on line 429

It is also not showing exerpts on my blog page like it used to.

p.s. I reinstalled the old version and it works perfectly.

Hi, I fixed this in the newest update :)

Hi. Pre-purchase question. I recently updated the woocommerce plugin on a different theme and ended up with a huge mess. Have you heard of any problems regarding the latest woocommerce upgrade and your theme?

Hi, we haven’t tested the theme with Woocomerce so I can’t promise anything unfortunately

Hi there. So when I try to do a facebook post or quote etc. it gets weird. For example with the quote, I have to put something into the visual text box for it to post (it took me a while to figure that out). Then, when I try to post a facebook status, it just keeps reverting back when I hit publish (again, it only posted when I put words into the visual text box). So when I look at my blog homepage you see a title and what I wrote in the main section of my blog – not the facebook status image. I tried 3 of the embed codes in the correct spot (choosing the status button also). Help! Thank you.

I see, WordPress does this automatically because it thinks there’s nothing in the post. Can you write a simple space in the content or a ~ Author maybe to compensate for this, because we can’t alter any native WordPress functionality when releasing the theme.

Thanks for the awesome template. I’m just wondering as to why this template looks identical to your other templates. I have bliss and I can’t tell any differences between the two. Is it just the same template rebranded? I’m not trying to sound like a dick or anything but you honestly can’t tell the difference between the 2 templates. Well pretty much all the templates on your website are the same just with different images and posts…Can you explain to me what I’m missing?

Hi there, this just isn’t true.

When we make a new theme we build the new one off of the foundation of the old one because we’ve already addressed most of the bugs and issues our customers have called out for. All of our new templates are basically the newest version of the theme before that, but with revamped aesthetics and a more variety of options.

If we make a new theme, then the reason behind it is most likely because we couldn’t update the previous theme with the things we wanted to implement, we couldn’t update Bliss with the things we wanted to put in, because of backwards compatibility regarding our previous customers, so we made Breeze.

Breeze has a completely different menu system for example, although you can put image backgrounds on both of them, that’s pretty much all the resemblance, we emphasized on the menu for Breeze as well as cleaning up the structure.

I’m not going to go into details as to what is different in Bliss and Breeze but these are the things that come straight to mind:

  • Image Tagging
  • Bootstrap 3
  • The Menu
  • Revamped Theme Options
  • Cleaner Code
  • More emphasis on mobile
  • Responsive sliders
  • Dynamically loaded social posts
  • Different eye candy (Animations)

And many other things. There are also extreme differences to the code and layout. For Vivid (our newest theme) we did similarly much to update ( I won’t make an equally large argument, for my times sake ) and the Menu is totally different for anything we have ever done, and although we keep the core, we update everything to the newest standards.

Best Regards, Arnar

Thanks for the template. Purchased, but looking for assistance w/ the following:

How can I edit font/size of tags in the “tag cloud” widget? How can I place a background image for the footer?

Thank you

Hey bluthemes,

Will you clarify where I need to click through to get to the footer background? I’ve added to the custom css via Theme options, but can’t figure out where to insert the rest.

Nevermind, dropped it in the custom css box as well. Thanks again

Great, no problem :)

Hi, Are the backend theme options for Breeze similar to what are shown on the Bliss theme demo for that theme ? Cheers looks great, trying to decide between the two.

Yeah they are very similar, although the interface for Breeze is a bit different (more in tune with WordPress 3.8). And there are a bit more options to choose from (and a few different ones to cater to the different layout)

Hi, is there anyway to put a static image or an image slider while using the blog homepage?

I’m not sure I understand. You can create a page and put whatever you want on it and then choose that page to be the front page of your blog, if that’s what you’re asking.

Hi, its me again…. some of my photos in my posts aren’t responding when viewed on an iphone or smartphone, the portrait sized photos looks squished or squeezed…. is there a reason for this or is it a bug or am i doing something wrong? Sorry for all the questions.

Hmm.. try adding an important tag on it like so:

img{ height: auto!important; }

the first code worked… thanks!!

Great, my pleasure! :)

Hey Bluthemes!

I love the theme, and my team is really considering buying it. It’s required for us however that it works great with WooCommerce, now I’ve read you haven’t tested it with WooCommerce.

I would really love if you did, and make it work if it doesn’t (we are able to pay more, in case that would be necessary).

I’d love to hear from you, Rob

Scratch that, already bought it and made it work! (just need some more CSS work but we’ll get to that!)

Now I have a question, the music post type. Does it only support Soundcloud? If so, would it be possible to insert iframes for other music services like bandcamp and such? How hard would it be for us to implant this?

Hey, thanks for the purchase :) Well done on the WooCommerce DYI, I’ll definitely look into supporting it.
The audio URL is using the native WordPress embed functionality, so if WordPress can understand the link then it should work. You can check out what WordPress can parse from this link
I can add a field where you can put in a special embed code though, I’ll put that on the to-do list for the next update as well :)

Is it possible to set a single sidebar for every page? I don’t want to have to maintain separate sidebars for home, posts & pages. I’m comfortable adding PHP code, if necessary. Thanks!

Yeah sure, in page.php, single.php and index.php at the bottom where a code similar to this is:

<?php dynamic_sidebar( 'page_sidebar'); ?>
<div id="page_sidebar_sticky" class="sticky_sidebar">
    <?php dynamic_sidebar( 'page_sidebar_sticky' ); ?>

replace the dynamic_sidebar('page_sidebar_sticky') with dynamic_sidebar( 'home_sidebar_sticky') on all places. That way your “home sidebar” should display on all of them.

Thank you! Love the theme!

No problem, thank you! :)

Great theme – quick question – does the timeline with social statues update automatically – is this an option?

Thank you!

Hi thanks

No it’s a custom post that you embed your facebook posts on

Hello! Bought theme theme for my girlfriend for her cooking blog about two weeks ago and love it!

I have a question about the mobile version of your theme though.

It seems to stretch all the images to some default size when you are viewing this theme on mobile devices. Please advise what we should to to make it work responsive!

Here is the post I am talking about

Thank you!

Ah I see, add this to your Custom CSS and it should fix it

img{ height: auto!important; }

It fixed everything!! Thanks so much :)

Great! No problem! :)

I purchased the theme, and very happy with it overall. But had problems with the mobile versions. Mainly that the mobile browser crashes everytime I try to load the website. Have you heard of issues regarding the theme crashing the mobile browser? I’ve tried the iPhone Safari browser and Chrome. Both crash when trying to load the site. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah it’s what I thought, mobile phones don’t like fixed things and apple products seem to crash when they are used. You can try to activate your sticky header again though, it shouldn’t be active on mobile. But it’s the background image that’s the problem. Can you give me a link to your website so I can give you a CSS fix for it?

Thanks. The site currently sits here:

Try adding this to your Theme Options -> Custom CSS:

@media (max-width: 767px) {
        position: absolute;

That should disable the background fixed position on mobile devices.

Hi, I just bought the theme and am also very new to building wordpress themes. I just activated my theme and cant seem to find where I can put the scrolling picture bar right below the header like in the preview. Im sure there is a quick fix that I just cant seem to find!! Help :)

That’s just a gallery post actually, just make a Gallery post, put in some images, and make it a sticky (so it’ll stick to the top).

so is there no way to have a running gallery at the top of the page that stays there always? Thats what I thought that was.

You could get a slider that has a shortcode and insert that shortcode in the Adspace above the blog, yeah sure you can do that :)
