Overall I think the theme is decent. However there are some things that I can't overlook that make me give 1-star rating.

1. Feature availability: features requested numerous times in Help forum are often dismissed with "Sorry, we don't offer that functionality." - to me thats unacceptable considering amount of users, and marketing around how good the theme is.

2. Ease of use: For what I wanted to build for my portfolio website, the author made very difficult to do. Not only I had to use a lot of custom CSS code, there were some parts that you need to change on places that dont make logical sense and therefore make website building process longer.

3. Support time: Even though I didnt submit support ticket myself, I've seen numerous times support tickets not being answered for 10 days ! Thats unacceptable to me. Reason why I didn't submitted support ticket is that for my feature request author already declined numerous other requests - "Load more" function instead of pagination ( basic feature ).

Overall this theme is good if you have zero knowledge about building websites, but if you do have some, and have your own VISION, I would recommend looking into building website with plugins like revolution slider / elementor builder, instead of entire prebuild theme like Brooklyn. Otherwise you might end up not being able to realise your vision because of theme limitations.
