I just purchased the theme and do not see anywhere to change from kilometers to miles.
How do you change to miles?

Very interested in buying this theme. A lot better then the previous one .
Only one question / concern according to google there is not much structured data for the listings.. (ratings and locations) This is a “schema” issue. Would i be able to add this feature on my own?
Please test your website pages with the google tool here to see if the review ratings are showing up in search results. Thanks !
Thanks for the message, we’ll have a look at it
Can you confirm that this feature has been added? a url you can see all of what i am talking about on google below -
Google Example with Rating: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yelp.com%2Fbiz%2Falma-pan-latin-kitchen-pittsburgh
(you can see the data with reviews and the business location)
Google Example of Yours: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ait-themes.com%2Fbusinessfinder%2Fwp1%2Fitem%2Fbike-pro%2F
(you can see all of the missing data)
Sorry theme currently does not support that feature.
Please elaborate on planned changes for directory theme because as of the moment I am quite annoyed you have seemed to have ignored user requests of Directory and then taken the ideas and put them into this theme. In particular front end registration which we have been told is not on the drawing board for Directory theme.
Thanks for the message, big update is coming to Directory theme today, keep tuned
Is there any discount for existing customers who recently bought the Directory theme?
It would be nice to offer us a cheap upgrade to this.
Thanks for the message. Sorry there’s no discount available.
Nice theme, and 90% I’ll buy this, but it’s possible to see a demo of user front-end registration form and “submit your listing” page, like in your previous Directory Theme ( http://preview.ait-themes.com/directory/wp1/register-form/ ).
Please check the following url for more details: http://preview.ait-themes.com/businessfinder/wp1/easy-admin/ Thanks.
Thanks for your reply.
No demo user to test this?
And.. this is all front end, right? Users don’t see the wp backoffice in any step of their user-experience?
Sorry we don’t have admin demo. Easy admin is simplified wordpress administration without any unnecessary bits and pieces. It’s very easy to use for all users. Thanks.
Nice theme. I have one question. Can be turned off search on map? Thanks
We’ll be adding in ability to move the search box under the map. Thanks.
1. Can this theme be translated into Danish?
2. And is it possible for people to earn points as they make a review?
Hi Mika, Thanks for your message. Theme supports WPML plugin, you can translate it to any language. PO file is included. Regarding earning points – sorry that’s not implemented.
Super, thank you for your answer.
Do you know if it would require a lot of coding to implement the earning points system for users who make reviews and rate businesses?
I think it’s not easy to implement it, but I’m sure that any experienced web developer will be able to help you. You might also find a 3rd party plugin for that
Perfect, thanks a lot!
Hello, do you plan on adding “Featured” listings anytime soon? They really need to stand out.
It would also be great if you could choose “list” or “grid” view on listings page.
Hi, Featured listings are already implemented. There’s currently no option to switch between list and grid. Thanks.
I can’t see any featured listings. Please could you show me them.
Sorry for example on the following page: http://preview.ait-themes.com/businessfinder/wp1/cat/cafetea/
Is there anyway of adding “Featured” as a tab to the far left perhaps? and allow featured listings to display more information than free listings. For sites like these, premium listings should really stand out. It would be great if you could limit what free listings can show.
You can specify what each individual listing package include via admin panel. You currently cannot put features listings in the tab as you suggested. Thanks.
Hi AIT, nice theme!
I’ve been very interested in your theme Directory for a few time ago but I decided to wait until I have everything ready.
Now I am ready to purchase but I want to know what is the difference between Directory and Bussines Finder.
Could you help me please?
Hi, Themes are currently very similar in terms of functionality. Business finder theme has some additional features though:
It’s just up to you which design you like and what features you need for your project. Thanks.
Yes – I would also like to know the difference between the Directory Theme & Business Finder themes.
Do you have a side by side comparison table to make the differences clear?
Which of your themes could handle multiple states or a national search?
Is there a limit to how many listings it can handle?
It’s just up to you which design you like and what features you need for your project. Both themes can be used for both city portals and even global ones. Everything is stored “wordpress way” so it can handle many items no problem. Thanks.
Hello I have a small Case Study with the translation, the .PO allows the translation of a few lines, how can I make a complete translation of the theme there are guides or landmarks.
i think about to buy your theme. But you write in the descritption
“NEW features that are not included in Directory theme”
So where can i get this features? And why i buy your theme incomplete?
Sorry for confusion, we have another theme called “Directory” and these features are included only in this new theme, not in the old one. Thanks.
Ah, ok i understand. Thanks
I amended the description. Thanks for your message.
I am very interested to buy this theme. I have a question though. How does the pin appear in the map, what if the address that the user provides is not recognized by google map and as a result does not show. This might be the case with those countries such as mine (Kosovo) where there is very little data or no data at all on google maps and even if one were to add the address the pin wont show bcoz google does not know the address. Is there a way to insert the pin in google maps manually simply by dragging and dropping it on the map to the exact location.
Thanks for your message. You can enter GPS coordinates manually or click on the map to read the position.
One more question: can one add in the map all locations for a business that is present in many cities?
... and can users register/connect with facebook, google and twitter?
Yes you can use the site in any city or country. Users are standard Wordpress users, you can use a 3rd party plugin to allow facebook connect for example. Thanks.
quick question, is there a way to use Zip Codes to search?
Would entering the zip code in the “search” pull up that zip code and the subsequent listings within it plus other listings inside the given mileage(km) area?
You can set zip codes instead of locations in the admin panel. That way you’ll be able to search by zip code. Thanks.
Now that users can submit reviews of businesses, I would be getting a lot of public users (NOT business owners). Based on this, those users would be confused in the login widget because it requires a “package” to be selected. They have no intentions of using a package, but only reviewing their favorite and worse businesses. I recommend removing the package option from the login fields, and moving it to submitting page.
Also, any plans to add “claim this listing” option?
I am ready to purchase soon…
I would also like the ability to require users to be logged in for Reviews.
Any change we could remove the comments from business listings? There’s no need if we already have Reviews. But still need comments for blogs.
Thanks for your message. You don’t need to log in in order to submit review. Claim listing is planned as a free update.
I want to require a login. This way users submit their email, and I can email market. Please read my comments above again, because you did not answer any of my questions.
Sorry I overlooked that one – yes you can remove comments from business listings. Thanks.
Just bought Directory theme two days ago but you say this in response to previous question asking for difference between this theme, Business Finder, and the Directory theme;
“Hi, Themes are currently very similar in terms of functionality. Business finder theme has some additional features though:
Easy Login via menu button
Ability to change map color
Top rated items section
Newest items section
Social icons on item detail page
Gallery on item detail page”
So if this is the Directory theme (albeit with a different design/feel) with added function why would I buy the Directory theme over this theme? It’s not a criticism but a genuine question.
Thanks for your message. Directory theme and Business Finder theme have different designs and bit different functionality. Some people would prefer Directory, another ones Business Finder.
Question… on the pages with the slider or image header (no map) is it possible not to have the search bar shown?
Yes it can be turned off. Thanks.
Will this theme allow a hierarchic multi-level nested location filtering scheme?
Rather than intimidate users with a large flat list of continents, countries, states/provinces, counties and cities, I would prefer to allow locations to be filtered by sequential selection via a series of chained dynamically updated/populated drop-down select boxes. For example, a user selects a continent from the first box and results are filtered to that continent. Countries within that continent then dynamically populate the second drop-down box and selection filters results to that country. States/provinces populate the third select box and if a user makes a selection the results are further refined while fourth box is populated with sub-locations. The process would continue down to a fifth or sixth box depending on the number of existing nested location levels.
The demo currently only features a one level/tier flat list of locations limited to a single selection box; so I was unable to determine whether it will best meet my needs, or those of anyone else who may be concerned with providing intuitive, user-friendly nested location navigation options at present.
Thanks for your message. Search box has an autocomplete field with limit of characters set to 0 for you to see what to type there. We plan to replace with with different jquery plugin that allows you to show locations as tree. That way you’ll see which are locations and which are sub-locations.
Presale question :
Will it be possible to import a list of business (2 000) from a csv file synching db table fields with csv fields ?
Yes, you can use CSV to Wordpress plugin we developed to import your data. Please check the following url for more details: http://codecanyon.net/item/csv-to-wordpress-import-plugin/edit/4829224
Sounds good to me. Let me check this with my developer and if it is ok you have a new client
Hi, why your template is not compatible whit smartphone? (Responsive)
Hi, theme is responsive, please check the following url in your mobile phone or tablet: http://preview.ait-themes.com/businessfinder/wp1/
I tried to see but you see just about 768×1024 Apple Ipad. Try to see you too from here http://quirktools.com/screenfly
Theme is tested on iPhone4, 5 and iPad. All is OK. Thanks.
I would like to buy it, but it is very important to me for compatibility with all types of resolution. I think this template will be used much more on smartphones and tablets and not on the desktop. So it is very important.
I forgot to mention that we tested the theme also on few Android phones we have in the office Thanks.
I wait until you solve even for other devices too. thanks
Sorry which device does not work for you?
I care that works for devices such as Samsung Galaxy, Nokia … Can you tell me how to adjust the template to any resolution I want?
Theme adapts to tablets and mobile phones, we haven’t tested it on ALL devices that are currently on the market but it works perfectly on all devices we have in the office. These include: iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPad 2, mini, several HTC phones, few Samsung phones and some other android tables. We do our best to test it as much as possible
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
