in the config.php, at the bottom, is this code… what is this? Are the “111” and “222” placeholders of some kind?
'keywords' => '111',
'description' => '222'
This is only test.
What do you mean a “test”? If you ‘view source’ you can see the 111 and 222 in the code on the website. Why? What is it?
Should 111 and 222 be changed?
Yes. You can change this.
but what do you change it to????
At the top of the same file is array for meta keywords and meta description.. so what is 111 and 222 and what do you changed them to? The same meta keywords and meta description and already put in the top of the file in the array?? Makes no sense.
Please change documentation of this template. Both of these values (111,222) has been added only for test this functionality.
“Please change documentation of this template.”? Sorry, I do not understand.
Sorry, I mean: “Please check documentation of this template”
I did.. I see no mention or documentation of any of this 111 or 222
Again, this is a test value for a two meta/keywords and meta/description. These values should be changed for your own when the site will be online.
BUT… at the top of the config file ARE meta keywords and meta description that you already change.. so what do these do and why are these also there when the config.php file already has an array at the top of the file for meta keyword and meta description?
Are you trying to say that 111 and 222 are if you want to set specific meta keywords and description for the Contact page that are different than the ones set in the array at the top of the config file already? The 111 and 222 override the array values already set at the top of the file?
You can set two meta tags: description and keywords by typing these values to the array $options in file config.php.
These two values: 111, 222 are only “test” values – you can change them when your site will be online.
Sorry, but I’m not able to clarify it better.
Yes, this is not clear at all.
I do not see the point of the array values AND these 2 additional settings? They seem redundant.
So let me ask it this way… If my $options array was like this
meta keywords: car, cars, automobiles, vehicles
meta description: We love to drive cars and vehicles.
what would be an example YOU would use for 111 and 222 when your site went online? What would YOU have changed them to? Maybe if I see what you use, I would understand because as it is, it just seems redundant.
'meta' => array
'keywords' => 'car, cars, automobiles, vehicles',
'description' => 'We love to drive cars and vehicle'
No, I know that. I did that. I get that. I have said that already about 5 times.
So WHY is this code even in the files?????
You do realize that is seen when you view source.. so WHY is it even in the code/file???
Both of them are test values. Only for check if template works properly.
But you do know, it is seen when you “view source” so it is pretty ugly to leave in the code if it is just a check.
I commented them out and everything still works.
If these are just checks for you on your end to see if the template works, I would remove that bloat when you push the files live for people to buy as it does nothing, is somewhat confusing to see, is not needed.
Thanks for responding.
The code isn’t “only for check”. These two variables (meta/description, meta/keywords from file config.php) includes values for meta tags in file index.php. In the original template they are set to 111 and 222 only for testing.
Ok look.. so the bottom line is.. should we change 111 and 222 to something else or just leave them alone?
And if we change them, do we change them to what we already used in the $options array?
Yo should change only meta/keywords and meta/description in file config.php to your OWN values. These values will be printed automatically in file index.php in section head. You shouldn’t modify these values directly, in file index.php
I 100% understand and already know not to modify the meta code in index.php, that is why that code is in the config.php in the array. I understand that. I get that. Totally clear.
I am not asking about that or those.
I… WANT.. TO… KNOW… should we change these at all?? Or just leave them alone????
Yes, as I mentioned in the few previous messages you should change both meta tags for your own.
OMG… this is so confusing.
WHY do you have
AND then have these??
IF you already set the meta tags values in the $options=array WHY are you also putting them in ‘meta’ => array at the bottom of the file?? What is the point of 2 different meta areas?????
Bottom part of file includes all config values (in JSON format) processed by main script. Meta tags are set in section head.
You win.. I give up we are going in circles, maybe a language barrier.
No, I don’t wanna win… I give up.
I like this template, but I want to know, what do you mean with: “Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for.”
I like to work as a consulter and want use this template for my homepage. Is it allowed with the Regular License?
Thank you very much.
This is a standard, single use license. Yes, you can use it as your personal page.
Hi, thank you for quick response. And if I have two domains for the same project, is it also possible?
Yes, if both domains are related with the same server (the same instance of template).
Most of the time, the sub pages won’t update?
and when i’m clicking on anything, then the title is changing back to Cascade – Personal Vcard.
Anyway to fix those bugs?
